Flash Gordon tribute?Edit

Always wondered about this guy. I'd read he was part of some tribute (an Easter egg, probably) to the Flash Gordon serials Lucas grew up watching, but I can't remember where, possibly SW Insider. It was supposed to be some sort of 'background story' to flesh out the environment of Mos Eisley, along the lines of some of the characters/scenes in 'Casablanca'.Tocneppil 10:09, 28 December 2007 (UTC)
