When a Sandtrooper rides on a dewback, we can see that he is using a long stick. What is it? A lance, a spear, a pike or something else? 222.70.216.173 05:05, 31 March 2007 (UTC)
I think its a force pike.or at least a type of pike. 'Alpha85(Kamino Databank) 02:19, 20 April 2007 (UTC)
The OS also canonizes the name "Sandtrooper". --SparqMan 01:02, 18 January 2006 (UTC)
The databank doesn't call things by their proper name. They call Sentinel-class landing crafts Imperial landing crafts. They call LAATs Republic attack gunships. They call Venators Republic attack cruisers, and so on and so forth. Bly1993 14:59, 18 January 2006 (UTC)
I have seen sandtroopers with red and yellow shoulder pauldrons on the Dark Forces II: Jedi Knight PC game, can anymone tell me what their ranks could possibly be? Higher ranking officers?
Probably not. Of course, it really depends on if they're in action or not to determine if it's a high ranking officer. But as for red and yellow shoulder pauldrons, it's probably around the rank of the orange shoulder pauldron. Admiral J. Nebulax(Imperial Holovision) 22:58, 20 April 2006 (UTC)
Wait - the entry says:
A stormtrooper sergeant's pauldron was white while an enlisted stormtrooper's pauldron was all black. Squad leaders, who led units of seven troopers, wore orange shoulder pauldrons.
But in Earth armies a sergeant and a squad leader are typically the same. I thought the orange pauldron denoted a low-level officer, like a LT.
Some sandtroopers in Mos Eisley wear a kind of armor similar to the ARC's. Especialy this one. There are more in the docking bay team. Darth Morrt 22:21, August 19, 2010 (UTC) File:Sandblast2.jpg150px
