- Santa Claus - a humanoid creature from the planet of Norhptole. :P VT-16 10:47, 22 December 2006 (UTC)
This must be something like the Earth article. Otherwise this article wouldn't exist anymore, right? --Gurbiza 10:50, 22 December 2006 (UTC)
Come on guys, this isn't even funny.Savossk 11:02, 22 December 2006 (UTC)
- Hey if nothing is stated about the SC creature other than that it's on a Rebel ship, that only makes it a Rebel operative. :P VT-16 11:04, 22 December 2006 (UTC)

- Why? It's not a joke like Earth was. Yoda dressed as Santa in a licensed source, Santa appeared on the Defiance in a licensed source, so why would it need to be deleted? -- Darth Culator (Talk)(Kills) 17:05, 22 December 2006 (UTC)
- ...the hell? How is this not a joke? I suppose that this artical comming up 3 days away from christmas is just a coincidence? --Nightmare--(Request Support)

- How about... no. -- Darth Culator (Talk)(Kills) 00:31, 23 December 2006 (UTC)
- That's just sad. Is this supposed to be in-universe or out of universe? Cause if it is in-universe, then 'At some un-known point, Yoda dressed in Santa like attire' is somewhat false - how do we know what the non-Yoda Santa dressed like? Do you follow me? Skywalka 01:13, 23 December 2006 (UTC)
- I'm not at all one for jokes like the Earth article but Santa did appear in a canon source. I hate to break it to all the Ebenezers out there but Santa is as much canon as any other character in the game. --Redemption

- Wookieepedias main goal is to have an article on all canon. Even if it is Santa Claus. Roron Corobb

- C'mon... Put the "non-canon" template... Myself, I find this pretty funny, but it can not be canon. The LEGO Star Wars II is considered as a non-canon appearance, but it's also the case for the Adventure Journal cover (just a star wars-christmas mix theme illustration) and for X-Wing, it's just an easter egg. It's just like you would tell me that the sport shoe used for the asteroid field in TESB is canon ("Giant sport shoes have frequently be seen near the planet Hoth. Their origin is still unknown... bla bla bla..."). But I agree for one thing, when the "non-canon" template will be put on this, that article should really be the "this week's feature article" ;p -- Kaal 02:33, 23 December 2006 (UTC)
- Is the Star Wars Christmas Album canon? There are several mentions of santa on that and Threepio even relates a tale of meeting his son, S. Claus, who collects christmas toys made by droids. - AwesomeCrom

- I would disagree to making this featured. Earth at least has substance to it. -- Riffsyphon1024 06:20, 24 December 2006 (UTC)

- I'm happy to see it there now. :-) IMHO, some of you need to lighten up. Anyway, I'm genuinely grateful for the article too as I had never seen that drawing of Yoda. -- 213.114.118.95 16:21, 25 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] The name
- Is this character some of you claim to be canon ever mentioned by name? How do you know he's called Santa Claus? --Gurbiza 10:22, 23 December 2006 (UTC)
- Moreover, how do you know the character on the Adventure Journal cover is Yoda?
- i know that face anywhere, its yoda for sure!
- You enter CL4U5H, which is a 1337 version of Claus...66.63.86.156 01:07, 29 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Best Article Ever

[edit] Okay, question.
In X-wing, is there just a normally dressed character named "Santa Claus", is there a character dressed in red Santa gear, or does the character have both attributes? If he's just named "Santa Claus", we should remove any in-universe references to dressing similarity to Yoda, but we can also remove the conjectural name tag. --Thetoastman 08:09, 27 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Yeah...
I doubt this is canon. It should be put on the Star Wars Fanon wiki then deleted from Wookieepedia. {{SUBST:User:(Luigi the Sith)/sig}} 00:38, 29 December 2006 (UTC)

- On that note, it's been a week; I think the vote is in. We should remove the deletion template. Bredd13comlink

- But... this falls under canon-until-proven-otherwise, therefore, your template is not exactly correct. Has this been deemed non-canon by "the author or the Star Wars licensees"? Can you cite a source in which it is stated that Santa's Independence cameo is non-canon? --Thetoastman 06:13, 31 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] All we have is a game code
Since this article is partially based on a cheat code in an already non-canonical game, I guess it would be perfectly alright for me to start an article on Kung Fu, since there's a cheat code in Jedi Outcast and Jedi Academy that allows the player to use Kung Fu. Or how about the mysterious Jedi Wampa? There's also a cheat code that allows the player to play a Wampa. I hope you all realize the precedence this constitutes. KEJ 10:03, 4 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Since we're apparently keeping Yoda Claus...
Should we alter the little green one's article to include his love of holidays? Maybe someone should mention that he's a kick-ass dancer, too, as shown on the Episode III DVD. Jwebb13HoloNet

[edit] Don't Delete It
Why...T...H should we delete this?!!? It has been acknowledged as "non-canon." Or, as a compromise we could delete it then create a Santa article on SW Fanon. And someone up there said this article was a joke. WTH? If this is deleted, for another thing... well, I told many people exactly where the heck to find the codes for Santa... here! If we delete it, they'll just go back to "Oh no, you cannot play as Santa in Lego SW II." But I'd feel bad letting them down about that too. Cell3 00:08, 4 February 2007 (UTC)
- Don't worry, this won't be deleted anytime soon. -- I need a name (Complain here) 00:10, 4 February 2007 (UTC)
