I already know that there will be arguments if that officer is him in ROTJ, so here's a source.--Bly1993 15:52, 7 Jan 2006 (UTC)
- I don't think he actually appears in ROTJ. The image, like many, was created for use with the card. —Unsigned comment by SparqMan (talk • contribs).
- He does appear. He's right beside the Emperor's shuttle. —Unsigned comment by 69.201.196.66 (talk • contribs).
Name
Edit
I thought Sarkli was his last name. -- SFH 02:19, 21 January 2006 (UTC)
- As did I. Logically, it would make him the child of a sister of Piett. QuentinGeorge 02:41, 21 January 2006 (UTC)
- Is all of this really confirmed? Or are these events the result of playing this game? I mean, do these events stay the same, no matter what happens in the game?--80.201.40.84 17:28, 6 February 2006 (UTC)
- Yes, these events are fixed, and part of the game's story, not variables within the gameplay itself. So they are canon - Kwenn 18:27, 6 February 2006 (UTC)

Homeworld
Edit
For some reason, I remember reading somewhere he was from Alderaan. Can anyone prove that? Lt. 1993 01:57, 10 February 2006 (UTC)
The LAAT
Edit
Technically, it was a Republic LAAT left over from the Battle of Geonosis. -- NeoExelor
Death
Edit
If Han shot him just before the bunker exploded, who was that guard who got punched/slapped and possibly knocked into the generator? You can see it just when the Rebels come in and take the guards captive. Most of them put their hands up and were led into the corner, but this one guy gets whacked for a reason I can't see. Why? -Aiddat 12:44, 23 June 2006 (UTC)
Allegiance
Edit
From my understanding of the game and especially in the context of the CCG card, Sarkli was an undercover agent who had infiltrated the Rebellion as a spy, possibly either struggling with his loyalties for a little while or trying to get a promotion within the Alliance military to provide higher-level secrets (hence destroying the AT-ST in the first mission).
This entry presents him as a simple defector who just happens to gain the rank of Captain, get a position heading up an elite team of Storm Commandos, and become a famed personal spy for the Emperor himself after defecting from the hated Rebel Rogue Squadron not long before the Battle of Hoth as of shortly after the Battle of Hoth, when he shows up captaining his own top-of-the-line Imperial frigate analog during the rescue of Hoth prisoners at Bakura. Oh, and he just happened to be taken ill during the Battle of Yavin and didn't participate in taking down the Death Star. I don't think that's likely. It seems like an inevitable conclusion that Sarkli was undercover.
There's also the relation to Piett to wonder about; my belief is that he wouldn't have been popular enough a commander to earn Sarkli such a relatively high position (if he had simply defected out of nowhere) purely based on favors to the family, considering that he was promoted from Captain of the Executor to replace Admiral Ozzel after Sarkli's defection, led Death Squadron when they lost the trail of Millennium Falcon, and then lost the Falcon again over Bespin. I think Sarkli had built a portfolio in the service of the Empire undercover for a while even prior to the Battle of Endor.

Main Picture
Edit
I was wondering if there is a clearer picture anywhere. If not, which I wouldn't be surprised, can anyone sharpen it? Clear it up maybe? If it's just my computer please tell me. Chack Jadson 23:58, 27 September 2006 (UTC)
Axxila
Edit
"...was presumably from Piett's homeworld of Axxila." I don't think that's something we can presume. Considering the ease of travel in the SW galaxy, family members living on different planets is very possible. --JMM 01:20, 12 October 2006 (UTC)

Query: If it's against the rules for Talk pages to be places to voice our opinions, why is a section titled 'idiot' allowed here? ZeldaTheSwordsman 22:34, 7 November 2008 (UTC)
- You'll notice that this particular topic was started almost 2 years ago. Sometimes nonsense like this slips by, but instead of deleting it, we archive it for our records. Indeed, this should be archived so others don't feel compelled to respond to it. Toprawa and Ralltiir 23:01, 7 November 2008 (UTC)
TFU 2 DLC
Edit
I would just like to point out that in the credits for the Endor DLC, there is a character entitled "Sarcli" and not "Sarkli." Whether or not Sarcli is supposed to be someone else, I don't know. Corellian PremierAll along the watchtower 05:15, December 27, 2010 (UTC)
