The Selkath loosely resemble the Gungans, but are more mature and serious. A mutation is a "fast evolution" (or de-evolution, depending on the situation.) Perhaps a group of Selkath left Manaan on an exodus to a planet more suitable for their liking, and the environment of their newfound planet somehow changed their appearances, demeanors, and mannerisms.

  • I'd say the Rakata look more like Gungans, but still... MoffRebus 12:17, 2 May 2006 (UTC)

Selkath are cool.

I would think that if the Selkath evolved in an underwater environment, they wouldn't have legs. More likely they'd have a tail of some kind instead. Their human-like shape suggests that, at one point in their history, there was some dry land and the Selkath lived on it. Selkath

  • another prof to that is the star map on manaan which is the only one built under water, also the rakat on lehon are bordered with water alot but never go under it.. it was probably built on dry land an then sunk.

Wondering... Are Selkath living off world in the Rebellion and New Republic era?

Goregrind Edit

When they made Selkath voices in KotOR, they distorted and pitch shifted it much like Goregrind bands do. I know this is random, but could you imagine what great Goregrind singers Selkath would be? XD
