Talk:Senior Jedi General
Back to page
Is this rank higher or lower than "High General"? I'm guessing lower, but I just felt like checking.--Knightfall 03:52, 2 Dec 2005 (UTC)
- Nevermind. I found the answer on Senior General. Apparently Senior General is just lower than High General.--Knightfall 03:54, 2 Dec 2005 (UTC)
- I always thought it was the other way around. Admiral J. Nebulax 21:42, 2 Dec 2005 (UTC)

Plo Koon
Edit
Plo Koon was a High Jedi General, not a Senior.
- Technically, they could have held this rank since they were High Jedi Generals, but you're right. Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision)

Anakin
Edit
So Anakin was a Senior General. I figured that due to his position on the High Council, like the others, that he was a High General. Jedi Wolf 12:21, 1 December 2006 (UTC)
- When did Anakin become a Senior General? I hadn't heard about it, but the prequel era isn't my particular area of expertise, so I may just have missed it. Evir Daal 08:52, 17 April 2007 (UTC)
- Well, he is a high jedi general now. He's listed under high jedi general in all the jedi general-related pages. Edit: Ahh, anyway, as I was just reminded, Anakin only became a high jedi general (hjg) in Revenge of the Sith and his stunt as a hjg was short lived (only during the movie) until he turned into Darth Vader. During the majority of the clone wars he was either a jedi general or a senior jedi general, I'm not sure which rank though. Can someone confirm please?--Secretss 08:23, 18 April 2009 (UTC)
Anakin was never a Senior Jedi General or a High Jedi General. To be one of these you must either attain the rank of master or be on the Jedi Council. Anakin never attained the rank of master and he was appointed to the Jedi Council by Palpatine. But the Council never granted him the rank of master therefore he is still a Jedi Knight and just a Jedi General. Rac Ward
Who is?
Edit
Could we please fix this article becuase I keep coming back and the names and numbers are always changed so could we get a solid and canon article.Chaos Sith Lord 03:10, 10 June 2007 (UTC)
Obi-Wan
Edit
Obi-Wan's a high jedi general but he's listed here. Technically this is not wrong, since high jedi generals outrank senior jedi generals and Obi-Wan can be a senior jedi general as well (nobody said a jedi can't hold more than one rank). But since Plo Koon has this same situation and he was removed from this list, should we, for consistency's sake, remove Obi-Wan from this list too? He's already listed in the high jedi general page.--Secretss 08:26, 18 April 2009 (UTC)
Rahm Kota?
Edit
Rahm Kota was a Jedi General during the Clone Wars but also he was a Jedi Master, So would he be considered a Senior Jedi General because of his rank as a master? Rac Ward
- The short answer is no. ORBAT for the GAR allows only for 20 Senior Jedi Generals, one for each Sector Army. All of the Senior Generals were Jedi Masters. Jedi Master, however, does not equal Senior General. The only known Senior General is Master Ry-Gaul. Makashi Flourish 15:55, July 21, 2010 (UTC)
I guess that makes sense but who would be the other Senior Jedi Generals maybe Luminara Unduli?Rac Ward
- As I said, the only known Senior General is Ry-Gaul. Further speculation is needless. We can be sure Luminara Unduli was not among them, however, since she did not command a Sector Army. Makashi Flourish 20:12, July 21, 2010 (UTC)
