Use of the word "sapient" in-universe Edit

I've noticed on several occasions that Karen Traviss often uses the word sapient, rathen than the more common sentient used by other authors. Is this worth a note in "Behind the scenes"? --Bluerock 22:31, January 23, 2012 (UTC)
