Talk:Shatterpoint (novel)

From Wookieepedia, the Star Wars wiki.

I'm thinking a seperate article for shatterpoint as a concept would be appropriate. Anyone who agreed and knows more about it than me willing to take it up? --Fade 00:09, 8 Jun 2005 (UTC)

  • I haven't read the book, but what concept of shatterpoint?--SparqMan 00:29, 8 Jun 2005 (UTC)
    • Mace Windu can see "shatterpoints" individuals or events of great consequence in the force. For example, Palpatine, Anakin and Dooku were all, at one stage or another, shatterpoints of the Clone Wars. It's more full explained in the novel. QuentinGeorge 06:01, 8 Jun 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Prologue

The normal Wiki says that Lucas wrote the prologue to his book, is that true? Kuralyov 23:20, 24 April 2006 (UTC)

  • Yes, for the paperback he did. QuentinGeorge 23:43, 24 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] I'm Not Even Joking

When I was reading this book, I literally couldn't finish it. It was just too... evil, with a lot of its points hitting too close to home. A number of subjects it refered to are disturbing ones that I have considerable knowledge about, and am appalled by, the things I can't bear thinking about. Don't get me wrong, its well written, but its almost... too well written. I could not finish it because it just hit me too hard. Darth Vatrir

  • I think that's the point. It's Heart of Darkness with lightsabers. And Stover isn't exactly the most mainstream author out there - \\Captain Kwenn// Ahoy! 21:23, 22 January 2007 (UTC)
    • Well, I complement him then. He is a damn good writer, the book certainly rattled me, and normally I'm unshakeable. Darth Vatrir

[edit] Anakin a Master?

In the Appearances Section, it lists Anakin Skywalker as a Jedi Master. I don't know if this is how it is in the novel's list, but could someone check? I'm hesitant to change it because, although he was a Knight, I don't have the source.

  • You're right. Still a Padawan there; little screwup on my part. I'll fix it. Fank 22:48, 2 July 2008 (UTC)
