Could someone convert the feet to metric? Also (I'm almost afraid to ask this), but does anyone have a picture of Shimrra? -- SFH 01:11, 29 Sep 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Reign

I was under the impression Shimrra's reign as Supreme Overlord began when the Yuuzhan Vong discovered Zonama Sekot. -- SFH 15:15, 7 Oct 2005 (UTC)

  • There's a quote in TUF that says something along the lines of Shimrra being in the final planning stages to enter the Galaxy around the time of the Great Jedi Purge, so he was S.O. waaay before 24 ABY. StarNeptune 14:04, 13 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Image

That isn't Shimrra. It's just a regular Warrior. Was there a picture of Shimrra in the NEC? -- SFH 04:52, 1 Nov 2005 (UTC)

Its the picture right next to the supreme overlord article on the New Jedi Order Sourcebook ... putting it back inrazzy1319

  • At the WotC article You bet I love Jedi, which showed art from the NJO sourcebook, it described the picture as that of a Yuuzhan Vong Warmaster. Was there a section of the Warrior caste nearby? -- SFH 05:53, 1 Nov 2005 (UTC)
    • Yep, the Warrior caste section is on the opposite page. I agree, this isn't Shimrra. The NJO sourcebook only documents up until the Fall of Coruscant, and Shimrra had only a brief cameo in one book prior to that. So I don't think he would have been established at the time of printing - Kwenn
      • No matter who it is, it really isn't a great picture. Can't we find any decent Shimrras?Darth Ceratis 20:05, 29 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] mind controlling toxins?

  • Where does it state that Omini controled Shimrra by mind controlling toxins? I can't find it in TUF. Darth Kevinmhk 02:58, 1 August 2006 (UTC)
    • I think that it's extrapolation based on the fact that Onimi was capable of releasing toxins and altering the electromagnetic field around him, and the fact that as a Yuuzhan Vong, Shimrra would be immune to most mental Force powers. -- SFH 17:15, 3 August 2006 (UTC)
      • Is it reasonable to assume Onimi's could apply the Force on other Yuuzhan Vong because he was a Force-sensitives, which means he could use Vongsense? Destiny's Way & TUF pretty much described a kind of energy actually flood through Shimrra's body to provide him strength & dignity, and other Yuuzhan Vong actually could sense a power pressuring them when they are questioned by Shimrra, just like Force mind trick does on the mortals in the galaxy. Darth Kevinmhk 17:45, 3 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Main Image

Should we change the Main Image to this [1]? It's from the Japanese Cover of TUF. I think it's better but I want your opinions --Sauron18 18:26, 4 August 2006 (UTC)

  • The current one gets a better persective of his features. -- SFH 19:15, 4 August 2006 (UTC)
    • I don't know, I feel the exact opposite. --Sauron18 19:31, 4 August 2006 (UTC)
      • The US version is far better. Darth Kevinmhk 00:07, 5 August 2006 (UTC)
        • Though it can be added in other parts of the article, this article needs more pic. Darth Kevinmhk 15:34, 5 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Mind control

Is it known how much of his actions and insanity were his own and how much was Omni?

[edit] The Tyrant (mad monarch)

Fixed a lot of the biased comments in this section. Overall great content, just removed several of the less objective comments. Xnuiem 23:54, 12 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Name

I've been thinking... shouldn't just we call him Shimrra, like the Vong themselves always did? Neither he nor Quoreal were ever (to my knowledge, at least) called by their domain name as Supreme Overlords. All references to "Shimrra of Jamaane" spoke of him before his ascension.
