[edit] Redirect?
Hmmm... I'm thinking that this page should be redirected to "Shmi Skywalker Lars". But before I do so, I need some opinions from others. After all, it was the name she later took after her marriage. Even her name was written like this in the Attack of the Clones novelization. Any thoughts to this suggestion before I move this page? - Divinity 16:27, 18 Nov 2005 (UTC)
- Go for it. If Leia gets Solo to her last name then so should Shmi. Redemption 02:44, 20 Nov 2005 (UTC)
- Shmi should get Solo;]? —Unsigned comment by 24.158.75.178 (talk • contribs).

[edit] Are we sure her homeworld was Tatooine?
I remember reading somewhere that she was abducted from her family aboard a starship, I'll check it out. —Unsigned comment by Pdixie (talk • contribs).
- Yup, TPM VD says she was abducted from a ship. —Unsigned comment by Pdixie (talk • contribs).
- That's a problem I've run into. The Visual Dictionary for The Phantom Menace does indeed say that, but the novel for Attack of the Clones states that she spent her entire life on Tatooine. So who are we supposed to believe? —Unsigned comment by Augie Ben Doggie (talk • contribs).

Is there an image to show Shimi in ATOC at the Tusken Raider camp? User:JainaSolo32

[edit] Slavery?
The article says she was born in 72 BBY and was captured and put in slavery in 66 BBY. But then it says she was put into slavery when she was nine, which would have been 63 BBY. Was she captured when she was six, or are our dates wrong? -- Zelda Death 05:08, 23 March 2008 (UTC)
