Talk:Signet Mezzileen
Back to page
I added this page before I got the NEC, because someone mentioned it either here or on TFN. However, after reading through the NEC's entire Old Republic section for a second time, I can't remember seeing mention of him. Kuralyov 17:19, 4 February 2006 (UTC)
Signet Mezzileen is mentioned as a previous chancellor in Coruscant and the Core Worlds, published by Wizards of the Coast. He is therefore an official character, though no details of his reign are provided in the source.
Just because he isn't in the NEC doesn't mean that he doesn't exist. He was mentioned in Coruscant and the Core Worlds, and the Non-Canon thingy should be removed. --Signet Mezzilleen 19:13, 4 March 2006 (UTC)
Added a few more things from Coruscant and the Core Worlds. I am not sure what is meant by 'he ruled Coruscant for 70 years', but it is in the book--page 7. I am guessing that it means that is how long he was supreme chancellor... but if Eixes Valorum ruled from 100 BBY, even if he resigned a year later... a 70 year rule would mean that he was chancellor until 29 BBY, and that cannot be correct. Any thoughts on this?? --Signet Mezzilleen 9:14, 4 March 2006 (UTC)
- "Ruling Coruscant for 70 years" doesn't necessarily mean he was chancellor for that long, especially given the limits on chancelleroship. He probably was Coruscant's mayor, or senator, or even the local party boss. Kuralyov 23:14, 5 March 2006 (UTC)
- Hmmm.... makes sense to me :) But since it doesn't mention any of those specifically, I'm just going to keep it as 'ruled Coruscant' --Signet Mezzilleen
