[edit] Yuuzhan Vong War

I think we should include it in at least a BTS section, I mean, it was even in Dan's blog wasn't it? I think, either way, it was meant to "hint" at it, not necessarily telling us whether or not it's true, but it's certainly worth a mention. --Sauron18 11:34 02 July 2006 (CDT)

  • Yeah, I suppose so. I personally believe it either the Silentium or the Abominors that conquered Yuuzhan'tar, but I just felt that it was a little too speculative to put into the main text. -- SFH 16:38, 2 July 2006 (UTC)
    • Well, we could mention it in both their entries, sort of like the Zayne/Squint = Nihilus theories and stuff. After all, it's more than just fan speculation, look at what Dan Wallace said:
"It is strongly implied that the Silentium are partially responsible for the war that devastated the Yuuzhan Vong home galaxy and triggered the Vong's hatred of machinery."

According to Dan, the implication wasn't accidental or just something that a fan pulled out of a hat, so I think after this too, it's certainly worthy of mention --Sauron18 11:56 02 July 2006 (CDT)

[edit] Copied from Talk:The Rest

[edit] Picture

Im thinking we should include a picture of Vuffi Raa and explain that it was built to resemble the original life forms of that species but are now extinct. --The Ravager 11:36, 16 June 2006 (GMT)

  • Well, his adult form closely resembles the description of "The Rest". So this probably means that The Rest are the Silentium, and that Vuffi is one of them. --Sauron18 20:28 27 June 2006 (CDT)

[edit] The Rest=The Silentium

Pretty much the same purpose and description, what do you think? --Sauron18 12:19 02 July 2006 (CDT)

[edit] Good Guys?

I edited the tone; there seems to be an immediate belief that the Silentium were the good guys and the Abominor the bad guys, but we have no evidence of that. Like the Vorlons and Shadows of Babylon 5 it appears that there were not good or bad guys, and treating either side as such is pure fanon until we are told otherwise. [edit] GOTO?

Goto resembles these a lot, but gotos creation seems kind of ambiguous to me.
