[edit] Theory
I just developed an extremely paranoid, but believable, theory supporting Siri as Mara's mother. The father: Obi-Wan Kenobi! Emperor Palpatine secured an infant Mara after the fall of the Jedi Temple, and discovered her parentage. He then made Mara a hand, to take revenge on Obi-Wan, and that is the reason Mara was chosen to kill Luke Skywalker. It was Palpatine's last act of revenge against Obi-Wan: using his daughter to kill his last apprentice. I know it has no support in the expanded universe, but it would certainly be in Palpatine's character. User:SFH
- And what have you to say about the fact that Siri dies 2 years before Mara is born???Macewindu 01:02, 25 January 2007 (UTC)
- Here is a more possible hypothesis with still keeping Siri and Obi-wan in Mara's family. They could be her grandparnts (Now i know this pure fan-fiction). This Child could be the real reason she was sent on a undercover mission in the first place. ~Newsgirl292003~
- Under normal circumstances, I would have simply reverted your edit, though it wouldn't be fair to keep the prior discussion. So instead I'll just it right here: Wookieepedia is not a forum for general discussion; any fan fiction, speculation, and general conversion unrelated to helping improve the article in question is not allowed on this site. // ~mikah~ 23:05, 28 October 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Stub template
I added the stub template because I think there are much more to tell about Siri than the article now contains. I already began to expand it by adding the appearances section, but the article should really be provided with more details from the Jedi Apprentice and Jedi Quest series (and a more detailed appearance list wouldn't hurt :). I've read neither of these series in their entirety, so I don't think I'm the best person for the job, but hopefully there is someone out there who is? --Tinwe 16:56, 6 Sep 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Appearances
Hah. Silly me. I didn't notice at all that the Siri fansite I've linked to the article has a list of her appearances... So now I've made a more comprehensive list of them here as well. The appearances aren't listed entirely chronologically though, as I didn't know for sure where exactly the Jedi Quest comics and Jedi Starfighter game fit in the timeline. --Tinwe 12:24, 8 Sep 2005 (UTC)
[edit] New picture
- That's the adult Siri, not the teenager. (See cover of Secrets of the Jedi. ) QuentinGeorge 06:39, 14 Oct 2005 (UTC)
- Oh, I assumed it was supposed to be her as a Padawan from the first half of the book. —Unsigned comment by DarthMaul431 (talk • contribs).
- Can we get the actual image from the cover of Secrets of the Jedi, rather than this fan-art collage? Looks a bit naff - Kwenn
- I figured this had her stand out more than the cover image. —Unsigned comment by DarthMaul431 (talk • contribs).
- Well, technically they are the same image. If someone can scan a copy of the cover as large as the collage we have here, we can replace them. QuentinGeorge 22:16, 14 Oct 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Character template background color
I thought it would be nice if the name field of the character template would fit the color of the main pic (à la Mace Windu). I tried to make it pinky/purple, like her lightsaber, but it came out a bit... loud. If someone is able to subdue it a little, it'd be great! I don't quite master this whole color thing yet :) --Tinwe 17:50, 12 Nov 2005 (UTC)
- Done. --Master Starkeiller 21:54, 12 Nov 2005 (UTC)
- Thanks! --Tinwe 07:50, 14 Nov 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Homeworld: fanon?
An anon marked her homeworld as Sembla. Is this true? --Azizlight 05:41, 6 Dec 2005 (UTC)
- Never heard of that before. Unlikely it seems, though, since its Coleman Trebor's homeworld. QuentinGeorge 05:47, 6 Dec 2005 (UTC)
- I removed it. -- SFH 05:48, 6 Dec 2005 (UTC)
- It's in the Databank under Trebor, so it definitely exists. Don't see anything connecting it to Siri though. CooperTFN 05:49, 6 Dec 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Britney?
Is it just me, or does the Essential Chronology picture bear an uncanny resemblance to Britney Spears? —Unsigned comment by 24.34.180.166 (talk • contribs).
sure does! :P --BaldFett 12:40, 27 May 2006 (UTC)
- She's like a hotter, less ugly and fat version of Britney Spears actually. Her childhood picture makes her look like Sarah Michelle Gellar. Weird.(Ulicus 23:01, 14 June 2006 (UTC))
- its wayyy too much like britney spears (pre fat and ugly, of course) I vote it be changed back, it really weirds me out.-- HalfSithalready 19:07, 6 Oct 2006 (UTC)
- Upon loading the page, the resemblance was the first thing that I noticed. Almost as if the artist was inspired by her. When he or she finished it, surely must have noticed it. Fank 02:56, 9 December 2007 (UTC)

Definatly Britney, but one powerful difference. Sh has hair. —Unsigned comment by 82.23.134.118 (talk • contribs).
[edit] Legacy of the jedi?
Where does she appear in this book? Thought her page said she did.Macewindu 23:29, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
I checked, Siri isn't in Legacy of the Jedi. Jedinite
Beautiful. Then why does her page say it? Removing it!Macewindu 00:08, 16 February 2007 (UTC)
I have a book thst is two in one it has Legacy of the Jedi and Secrets of the Jedi in it. She is not mentioned at all in Legacy of the Jedi that is about dooku leaving the jedi order. Secrets of the Jedi on the other hand is about Siri and Obi-Wan discovering their love for eachother. I think its just a simple misunderstanding.User:Siri Tachi obi July 2008
[edit] Better than Obi-wan
Perhaps something should be said about the theory that she was stronger with the force than Kenobi? The fact is, although Kenobi could beat her in a duel, she was still at his level in combat, even while being 2 yrs his junior.Macewindu 00:14, 16 February 2007 (UTC)
I'd say that she was maybe a little bit better than him. He's older and she was his equal. However, once she died, I think Kenobi became stronger; he was taught by Qui-Gon's spirit after he went into exile and he had Siri's warming crystal, which I think, possibly gave him her strength. [edit] Pink Lightsaber?
It's obvious from the pictures that Siri wields a pink lightsaber. Is this enough to make it canon, or is it mentioned at all in the works she's in? If so, I think it's noteworthy enough to put in the article. Wookiee Jedi 15:23, 28 February 2007 (UTC)
- I actually think it's more of a purple color. --Vongchild
It looks more pink but maybe we should get more apinions.user:ivel april 4 2007
- It's the same colour as Windu's. Therefore purple. 60.230.44.199 04:45, 5 April 2007 (UTC)
- Are you going by the pictures, or some reference? Wookiee Jedi 18:22, 3 May 2007 (UTC)
I'm colorblind but it looks pink to me... Destroyer Droid 21:44, 3 May 2007 (UTC)
Actually, in Jedi Apprentice #9 and #13 whose covers Siri is on, the color of her lightsaber is described as: violet. Star Force 21:09, 14 May 2007 (UTC)
Somewhere on here there's a list of characters who have niether red, green, or blue 'sabers, and in there her lightsaber is described as pink. 71.116.187.106 23:33, 1 July 2007 (UTC) Emma
- The info on that list is wrong then. Her lightsaber is never pink in any of the books. She uses the violet lightsaber in the Jedi Apprentice books, and a blue one in one of the Jedi Quest books. Not a lot of fans know about the blue one, probably because she's always pictured with the violet lightsaber. And it does look more violet/purple on the books than on the scanned images. Star Force 01:43, 2 July 2007 (UTC)
One instance where her lightsaber color is mentioned is near the end of JA#13 (page 132) when Obi-Wan finds Siri missing and goes looking for her: "He saw the pale violet glow of Siri's lightsaber." Star Force 02:28, 2 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Full image
Does anybody have the full image of this: http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/File:SiriTachi.JPG. Because i know there is one but i can't find it. —Unsigned comment by JediNTT307 (talk • contribs).
- The image is from The New Essential Chronology, but you probably knew that already. :) There used to be a full version of it here in Wookieepedia, but it got deleted as it was not used in any article and was only placed in a gallery (back when we used to have gallery pages), which wasn't considered fair use of the image. --Tinwe 16:49, 21 October 2008 (UTC)
If she was real she would say it was violet. was very offenacve about that.
[edit] Before the Clone Wars
In The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia there is a bit on her entry about her working with Garen Muln just before the Clone Wars, but not reaching their destination as they had to stop and help Obi-Wan rescue Anakin. I don't own the book that contains this bit, so I doubt I'll be able to add it (TCSWE doesn't have enough detail). I'm also not sure if this happened before she worked with Nym or after, I assume before. Hunterj | My talk 19:40, 23 February 2009 (UTC)
