Controversial Edit

Is there any source to say what made these philosophers so controversial, or what they believed? (I'd assume if there were, they'd probably be thinly veiled Machiavellis, Platos, etc. unless someone author really wanted to invent a political philosophy out of whole clothe, but who knows.)--216.45.228.131 10:17, May 3, 2010 (UTC)l
