Winterized version of Armor? Edit

Semi-Spoiler Alert

If anyone has seen the new Ultimate Sith Edition DLC for TFU, you'll notice that the Sith Stalker armor is rather different than the one seen at the Sith ending of the game. Is this just a "winterized version" or some new upgrade? --Night Raptor 20:04, 27 July 2009 (UTC)

No, in the Tatooine DLC, the armor has been altered slightly, then wrapped in a Tusken disguise. For the Hoth mission, his armor has been redesigned to look more 'Vader-ish'.--DK743 11:57, September 21, 2009 (UTC)

I'm wondering, should the Vader-like version of the armor be considered just for winter conditions, or was it the upgraded and finalized version? And I don't think that there was really any altering to the armor before it was wrapped in the Tusken disguise. --Mateo22 17:56, October 12, 2009 (UTC)

  • I personally believe the Vader-ish version is the finalized or complete armor set. And I'm wondering, I know that the whole Ultimate Sith Edition is non-canon, but are we recognizing the technologies depicted in it, namely the Stalker Armor variants, as canon, or is this whole article mostly just speculation. Sith Warrior or Cybernetic Reconstruction? Edit

Is there an canonical source for what Starkiller looks like under the armor? I know that the Sith Warrior is actually canon since it has had a canon appearance, but shouldn't the cybernetic Reconstruction variant be waht he actually looks like in The Ultimate Sith Edition, since the Sith warrior was only a vision and plus, the cybernetic reconstruction seems more realistic. Dude gets smashed by a spaceship! The Sith warrior's face looks relatively unharmed, while the C.R. face actually looks like he got smashed by a spaceship.--LastJedi1515 21:16, November 22, 2009 (UTC)

I agree. The vision might be a bit inaccurate. It probably made him look more like his old self to scare Galen more. The C.R. does seem more realistic, with cover-ups added to the armor when he awoke. Nevertheless, we have no true confirmation of what he really looks like underneath the non-vision armor. It's also worth noting that his voice has changed to be deeper and more like Darth Vader in USE, which is the non-vision version. --Mateo22 Seperatist leadership.jpgContact 00:11, May 7, 2010 (UTC)

Sith Stalker armor vs Darth Vader armor Edit

Is this armor better than Vader's, because Vader's suit heavily restricted his movments while Marek's suit didn't limit his abilities to any visible degree, not even requiring him to change his lightsabre style.--Gbadude3 19:01, February 14, 2010 (UTC)

I suppose that while not explictly stated in-game, we can consider it a superior, upgraded version. I read in the comments under an USE vid that George himself stated Starkiller in this form does indeed continue to grow in power, but at a slower pace, therefore he does not remain restricted like Vader. I wish I knew the source of the interview where he said that, but this armor is definitely better, and was probably the newer technology that just wasn't available at the time of Vader or Grievous. --Mateo22 Seperatist leadership.jpgContact 00:15, May 7, 2010 (UTC)
In the description in the costume selection screen, it specifies that the armor is inspired by Vader's but modified so as not to hamper the wearers agility and speed. In that manner, the armor (and Marek's cybernetics) should both be considered to be upgrades to Vader's, which were intentionally and spitefully intended to throw off his balance and movement. 214.3.138.234 15:24, August 23, 2010 (UTC)Steve

Innacurate, two seperate armors... Edit

The sith stalker armor, grafted onto the skin of an otherwise healthy individual, seen in a vision by Galen Marek at the jedi temple, and the darth vader inspired life support armor worn by Lord Starkiller in the non-canonical version of the battle of hoth, are TWO DIFFERENT ARMORS. In fact, in the non-canon dark side ending of the main game, the helmet is IN ADDITION to the sith stalker armor. In the only CANON portrayal of the armor, there is no mask.

The vision at in the hut is of his possible future, a future were he needs that mask to survive... The armor itself, consists of that gladiator thing on his shoulder and the metal grafted on to his center mass, as well as those metal talons. But the MASK IS OPTIONAL. (- -) 21:05, May 11, 2010 (UTC)

Incorrect, he wears the mask because he needs it. It alters the sound of his breathing suggesting that it's helping him breath in some way. And in all cannon material that I have seen he wears the mask, except in the Jedi temple where he duels the Dark Apprentice and knocks the mask off, however I think that was for dramatic purposes. On the dark side ending of the game the Emperor says "finish him" to the droids, who then insert a needle through his visor, implying they were working on his face. The mask is, doubtless, a part of the Sith Stalker armor. The SSA, by the way, is not stated to be grafted to a healthy individual, the in-game description only says its painfully grafted on to the wearer. Darth Tyranitar 23:34, June 25, 2010 (UTC)

Cyborg Edit

Is the Sith Stalker a cyborg? and if so, how can he use the sith lightning, as he is shown with cybernetic arms?

He wouldn't be a cyborg, he's still largely biological material (still mostly Human). Darth Tyranitar 23:35, June 25, 2010 (UTC)

Best cyborg armor Edit

when i read it right, the "dark lord´s armor" is an better version of the sith stalker armor and the tatooine desert armor and a much better version than vaders armor? and he can´t gain more force powers through this armor? but when it was upgraded? Rude Brute 20:14, October 25, 2010 (UTC)

Non-permanent/cybernetic version? Edit

Does anyone think that there could be a version of this armor that functions as standard armor, with no like life-support systems or permanent cybernetic grafting? BleedingEffect 14:48, April 2, 2011 (UTC)

I have no idea what this has got to do with this article, but... I think that due to the fact that the hands are seen in the picture are part of the armour, its going to be very difficult to function with only the chest-plates and such. But disregarding that, yeah, it seems feasible. --86.160.177.234 00:25, June 1, 2011 (UTC)
