Was not Slave IV featured for the first time in Daniel Moran's short story The Last One Standing: The Tale of Boba Fett contained within the Tales of the Bounty Hunters book? If so, then how did this ship--thought up long before Attack of the Clones--suddenly become an LAAT variant (i.e. AIAT/i)?--SOCL 02:07, 10 Jun 2005 (UTC)

And on Shards of Alderaan, of the Young Jedi Knights books, Boba Fett is traveling in Slave IV, yet there is a Firespray on the cover. What gives? User:SFH
- It was a retcon. And I've changed it to "Amphibious Interstellar Assault Transport/infantry" after reading about the official word on it, i.e the previous AIAT/i wording was a continuity-glitch. VT-16 14:11, 30 Nov 2005 (UTC)

No, there's still nothing canon out for it yet. Kind of like Slave 3. You'd think they'd at least put something out in the Essential Guide to Vehicles or something. I guess we just cross our fingers and hope. — Sadriel Fett 20:33, 17 June 2008 (UTC)
