Talk:Smuggler

Should this be moved to "smuggler" to be consistent with the other occupations? jSarek 11:04, 1 Jul 2005 (UTC)

Edit
In Empire at War and Forces of Corruption, both the Empire and the Rebellion could build Cantinas to allow the recruitment of smugglers (they can only be built on some planets, though). You can direct them to siphon a small number of credits from the opposing faction. If a world has been corrupted by the Zann Consortium, smugglers do not time out. They can be killed by bounty hunters. Just.. info and asking if that should be incorporated here. AthCom 11:59, 3 September 2008 (UTC)
- This info is from a game, and we tend to avoid adding game info, unless that is the only source it appears in. We could cut it down to a few facts. Smugglers were recruited by many different factions, including the Rebels and the Empire. They were able to smuggle credits. They were commonly chased by bounty hunters. This is all pretty much covered in the article already, so I find no need to add extra info. Soresumakashi 12:06, 3 September 2008 (UTC)
- That's why I put it here, and not directly on page, but thanks for the information you've provided. AthCom 16:02, 3 September 2008 (UTC)
Davik
Edit
If I'm not wrong, then "smuggler" refers to people who smuggle goods across borders, then why is Davik Kang here, he was a crime lord, and had smugglers under him, yes, but he's not directly a smuggler, as he didn't actually fly the ship, he was simply the man behind it. If he's here, we could just as well put the entire Hutt cartell and the Rebel Alliance here, as they were also the men or women behind the smuggling operations, but didn't actually fly in the ships themselves. --H91 11:51, April 2, 2010 (UTC)
