RenameEdit

Should the page be renamed in order match the titles of the other anthology pages? Perhaps "Untitled Star Wars Anthology Film (Han Solo)" or "Untitled Han Solo Star Wars Anthology film"? --Dentface (talk) 21:38, July 7, 2015 (UTC)

  • The official site referred to it as a "Han Solo Anthology film" so I see no reason not to keep it at the current title to reflect the fact that it's untitled. - Brandon Rhea(talk) 21:49, July 7, 2015 (UTC)

Rename x2 Edit

Lucasfilm has long-since stopped using the word "Anthology" as part of their promotion for the spinoff films. Every time they refer to this project, they refer to it as the "untitled Han Solo film." I think we should rename this page to Untitled Han Solo film. Anyone have any objections? - Brandon Rhea(talk) 16:00, June 22, 2017 (UTC)

  • I agree it should be moved --Lewisr (talk) 16:01, June 22, 2017 (UTC)
  • Yep. Adamwankenobi (talk) 17:33, June 22, 2017 (UTC)
    • If we go by that, should we rename the Anthology page? Anthology is never used/mentioned they refer to them as spin off or as "A Star Wars Story" like in the upcoming movies presentation from Disney [1] --DarthRuiz30 (talk) 17:37, June 22, 2017 (UTC)
      • What would we call it? "Star Wars Stories"? Adamwankenobi (talk) 19:11, June 23, 2017 (UTC)
        • Where would this leave the title for the Simon Kinberg film? Would we change that to "Untitled film"? --Dentface (talk) 19:16, June 24, 2017 (UTC)
        • Not sure if should "Star Wars storie", but we need to change it too since Anthology is a name that they not longer use in titles or while refering to the spin off movies--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 19:28, June 24, 2017 (UTC)
          • We don't know if "A Star Wars Story" will be used for other spinoff films. We could use something like "Star Wars stand-alone films." - Brandon Rhea(talk) 20:15, June 24, 2017 (UTC)
            • Sounds better than the old Anthology term, can be a good title in the time we wait and see if they continue with "A star wars story" or not--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 20:23, June 24, 2017 (UTC)

As Mat Brunet, these guys wanted to make their own movie first and a Star Wars movie second, rather than the other way around. --IAmMaxB (talk) 08:08, June 27, 2017 (UTC)

Michael Kenneth WilliamsEdit

Why is there no mention of his departure of the film, except that he was edited out of the cast? --Metalworker14 (talk) 14:36, September 29, 2017 (UTC)

Planets of Solo: A Star Wars Story Edit

Would this article by AMC theatres be considered a valid source to add Kessel and Mimban? --Lewisr (talk) 01:10, January 30, 2018 (UTC)

  • It looks official to me. We should wait for another opinion though--Vitus InfinitusTalk 01:30, January 30, 2018 (UTC)
    • I don't think so, on the Mimban section is mentioned this "LEGO playsets for Solo have revealed the “Mimban Stormtroopers,” Stormtroopers wearing armor designed for the planet’s inhospitable swamp-and-jungle terrain", I don't think those LEGO sets have been revealed officially--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 01:34, January 30, 2018 (UTC)
      • I 100% agree with Ruiz. The article is just drawing information from the Lego leaks and speculating about social media posts. - Cwedin(talk) 01:35, January 30, 2018 (UTC)
        • Agreed, I did notice the lego part but forgot about it until Ruiz mentioned it. In that case it wouldn't be valid as a source --Lewisr (talk) 01:37, January 30, 2018 (UTC)
          • Didn't notice the Lego part, yeah let's wait--Vitus InfinitusTalk 01:40, January 30, 2018 (UTC)

Plagarism? Edit

I'm new to the wiki, so I apologize if this is in the wrong place.

The Solo posters were apparently plagiarized (see [2] for the article) and I'm pretty sure Disney is redoing them. Should the image on the article be removed or does that not matter?

Critical reviewsEdit

Several news media including “Collider”, “Variety”, “USA Today”, “National Review”, and “The Guardian” have released reviews of “Solo: A Star Wars Story”. Even Wikipedia has a critical review section. Should I write one for the Solo movie article or should we wait until the official release on 25 May 2018? Andykatib 21:04, May 16, 2018 (UTC)

  • I don't see why not --Lewisr (talk) 00:33, May 17, 2018 (UTC)
