Greedo issueEdit

  • I'm aware of the fact that Greedo the Younger cannot normally appear in this episode, but is there yet any official proof that it really is Greedo the Elder? --Sompeetalay 09:35, September 28, 2010 (UTC)
I think greedo the not elder is like two at this point, is he even born yet? But fact to consider is that greedo the elder is not greedo the elder yet, there are a few prerequesits for the title and i dont think any of them are met. So unless everyone stares at the camera and carefully explains that he is NOT greedo the elder and is in fact greedo the elders son. Then he is greedo the elder (ow). ralok 10:53, September 28, 2010 (UTC)
I'm sure that there has been no official confirmation that it is Greedo the Elder, other than simply Greedo. Greedo the Younger was born in 19 BBY the final year of the Clone Wars which means that he hasn't been born yet; since there is not another Greedo that would fit the description and we know it is not a new character it there for must be Greedo the Elder. And ralok says what? Alexsau1991 (talk page) StupidSithEmblem-Traced-TORkit 11:07, September 28, 2010 (UTC)

what? . . . oh dangit ralok 11:13, September 28, 2010 (UTC)

his name isnt greedo the elder yet, its just greedo. That is what i am failing at saying. ralok 11:15, September 28, 2010 (UTC)

Ralok your here to? Thats cool but yes he is born yet he was about 9 in episode 1 he was the rodian arguing with Anakin over wheter his pod would work so I'd say like Anikin he would be in his 20s when the episode takes place. And he looks kinid of like a teenager in this episode to me. Not like Boba Fetts age more like 18 or 19.Sniperteam82308 12:56, September 28, 2010 (UTC)

I agree with ralok on the Greedo issue. Since Greedo the Elder hasn't had any kids yet, he wouldn't have "the Elder" on his name yet, so his being called Greedo in the episode in no way means he is the Greedo we know from ANH. RogueJedi86 01:38, October 2, 2010 (UTC)

  • The gutting of Greedo's StarWars.com Databank entry (compare with this older version) and the inclusion of TCW in the appearances of said entry confirms the worst case scenario, which is that TCW Greedo and ANH Greedo are one and the same. -- I need a name (Complain here) 19:45, October 2, 2010 (UTC)
  • The episode guide contradicts idself, saying its Ep IV Greedo, then says its Ep I Greedo. Since starwars.com can't seem to make up its mind, that sort of thing should be taken with a grain of salt. --The Great and Grand Count Mall! 00:35, October 3, 2010 (UTC)
  • I don't see any direct contradiction. Lucas never distinguished between the two Greedos (hell, Greedo the Elder was only created as a retcon to help the existing EU backstory fit, which we know Lucas ignored once before for Episode 1), and the episode guide seems to be treating them as one and the same, which I imagine is the route Lucasfilm's continuity editors are going to take. It happened once before- remember when the Captain Antilles from ROTS and the Captain Antilles from ANH were father and son? Eggmanland 00:45, October 4, 2010 (UTC)

SequelEdit

Isn't this a sequel to the episode Trespass? --Mega Sean 45 14:39, October 2, 2010 (UTC)

  • Hardly. While Riyo Chuchi is in both episodes, there is no connection whatsoever to "Tresspass" - no Orto Plutonia, no Taalz, no nothing.Daniel46 15:09, October 2, 2010 (UTC)
    • Yes, it is, in fact. In terms of chronology, N. Papanoida is confirmed to have succeeded Chi Cho as Chairman of Pantora in "Sphere of Influence," thus placing it after "Trespass." CC7567 (talk) 19:41, October 2, 2010 (UTC)
      • In chronology I agree with you, but I see a sequel technically as a direct continuation of one given storyline. That is, if the instatement of Papanoia had been made in direct succession with the events in "Tresspass", then I'd call it a sequel. This ep I would call a mere continuation of the on-going CW storyline.Daniel46 21:27, October 2, 2010 (UTC)
        • The fact is that it takes place after "Trespass." Beyond that, it's up to you to decide how to take it. CC7567 (talk) 21:29, October 2, 2010 (UTC)
      • Well, everyone does have their own picture(s) of things.Daniel46 04:17, October 3, 2010 (UTC)

In the Clone Wars article someone put a section called Blockade of Pantora (a 3rd season event) right before the pre-existing section Destruction of the Felucia Medical Center (a 2nd season event). This article doesn't mention anywhere that the episode takes place during the 2nd season timeframe, specifically before the episode where "Destruction of the Felucia Medical Center" appears. Is there some source which confirms this particular timing? If yes, it should have a reference in the article; if not, the blockade should me moved in a different place in the Clone Wars article. ~~

Papanoida's deviceEdit

Is the device Papanoida used part of his information network? Its rather hard to beleive someone would randomly carry something like that around. --The Great and Grand Count Mall! 03:03, October 4, 2010 (UTC)

  • It has not been confirmed as such, and this page is not for speculation on the matter. CC7567 (talk) 06:39, October 4, 2010 (UTC)

Chronology Edit

Is it just me or does one of the Neimoidians reference the separatist defeat at the Battle of Ryloth right after Chuchi and Ahsoka sneak into the conference room? Does that mean that this takes place after Supply Lines, or even the Ryloth Trilogy??? For some reason, the episode guide doesn't touch on this and it isn't in the "appearances" section of any articles, but I would love to know the answer, since this drives a spike into the complete chronological order of the episodes I recently finished.
