[edit] The "plot holes filled" section isn't necessary

Star Tours wasn't supposed to be canon; it was just supposed to be entertaining; like George Lucas' entry in the Steven Colbert Green Screen Challenge. It was just meant to give those on the ride a realistic feel for the SW universe, without the constrictions of canon. Think of it as the how movie "National Treasure" relates compares with actual history. Its not meant to be taken seriously; its meant to be fun. --Logan Felipe 01:59, 27 November 2006 (UTC)

  • Star Tours is mentioned in an IU publication. Personally, I think that, while NEGD states that there is a canonical Star Tours, the real world ride is not canon.--Lord OblivionSith holocron 02:07, 27 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Too many "First Appearances"?

I just looked over the "Appearances" section and saw there were a lot of "First Appearances" there. What tipped me off was the mention that the R5 unit was first shown here; however, wasn't it in Episode IV first? ~~ Commander Jorrel Fraajic File:Insignia.jpg Communications Relay ~~ 19:46, 8 January 2007 (UTC)

    • I suspect "R5 unit" in that list means "a specific as-yet-unnamed R5 unit." Whether that warrants a separate page (to prevent the redirect), I dunno. Gonk 14:20, 4 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] New additions - ride updated, or vandalism?

Several new additions to the article have been made recently of topics that didn't exist when Star Tours was created. Has the ride recently been updated, or are these covert vandalism? jSarek 00:50, 7 August 2008 (UTC)

  • Well, I was just at Disney World in January and there was nothing new then. Could it have been updated since then? Sure, I suppose so. But without anyone in the fan-base knowing about it? Unlikely. I'm inclined to think it's covert vandalism. - JMAS Hey, it's me! 01:08, 7 August 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Heading to Star Tours once again today, Wanna help out Wookiepedia

So today I'm going off to Hollywood Studios again, and I noticed some of the Droids from the ride have no pictures on here, would it be a good idea for me to try and take as much images of the droids as possible?Natonstan 12:41, 21 August 2009 (UTC)
