[edit] Empty sections

Please stop placing in empty sections that won't be filled in for years at the soonest. They don't make any sense to have and they clutter the article up. When, in three or four years time, that information is available, that will be the time to put it in.Kuralyov 00:37, 10 Nov 2005 (UTC)

  • They are there to keep the second section consistant with the first. Yes, of course they won't be filled for a couple of years, but, like I said, they merely serve as placeholders. Adamwankenobi 00:56, 10 Nov 2005 (UTC)
    • They're placeholders that are not needed. Saying "Since the show hasn't yet been created, there are no awards it has earned or acclaimed remarks about the series, as of yet" is just dumb, nobody needs to know that. --Azizlight 01:02, 10 Nov 2005 (UTC)
      • Yes, I think it's a little bit premature. Those sections can always be added and updated once the show has actually started up. — Silly Dan 01:06, 10 Nov 2005 (UTC)
  • I agree that we should not bother putting those sections in. We can make it consistent with whatever format the page looks like when the time comes (which will probably be different than what it is now). WhiteBoy 01:28, 10 Nov 2005 (UTC)

Adamwankenobi, stop the edit war already, see above comments. --Azizlight 04:46, 10 Nov 2005 (UTC)

  • The point is, it doesn't hurt anything. Adamwankenobi 04:58, 10 Nov 2005 (UTC)
  • The point is, it looks stupid. --Azizlight 05:02, 10 Nov 2005 (UTC)
  • I agree with Azizlight, WhiteBoy, Silly Dan and Kuralyov. Unless my preschool math needs tuning, that makes it 5 against 1. MarcK 05:06, 10 Nov 2005 (UTC)
    • I agree that it may look stupid, but it ensures consistancy in the article. Adamwankenobi 04:54, 11 Nov 2005 (UTC)

[edit] This or Labyrinth of Evil?

I know this contradicts LoE in a few ways so which is canon? Trueblue9999 05:41, 10 October 2006 (UTC)

  • I don't think there's anything established, and the community seems to be content with merging the two storylines into one. I personally prefer LoE by far, though this was still fun to watch. - lalala_la
    • What distresses me is how some of the highly stylized action sequences of Clone Wars are taken as if they are canon, and integrated into character biographies. But clearly, there's nothing in the films or EU novels to suggest that Mace, Yoda, etc., have anything remotely like the Superman powers they are depicted as having in Clone Wars. Just as Mace doesn't really have a perfectly flat jaw, so too does he not have the ability to practically fly and destroy an entire droid army with his bare hands. If he could have done that, the Clone Wars would have ended in Episode II at Geonosis.

-Maybe there should be a mention of Paxi Solo, the boy from the Mace episodes who In-universe, is thought to have at least made those chapters. Unsigned comment by 69.253.241.122 (talk • contribs).

  • I think they should make a sensible combination with all the characters in LoE and Clone Wars. Cause i like the fact that Shaak Ti, Foul, and Roron battle agaisnt grievous and his guards for a while instead of being killed quickly. Maybe they'll combine the two or make something else in the new clone wars movie that will stop the confusion and make the jedi powers more sensible.JediNTT307 20:57, 17 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Darth Vader?

What's up with the Darth Vader picture? I'm pretty sure that did not show up in Clone Wars - lalala_la

[edit] High General Ki-Adi-Mundi must not have many friends

When he is rescued on Hypori and sees Aayla and Shaak, did anyone else find it strange that he addresses General Secura by her first name, but addresses High General Ti by both her fore- and surname? Therequiembellishere 18:58, 19 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Question

How would you (and everybody else) feel if I put links on the episode/chapter pages to watch the videos without downloading anything or buying anything. Please comment on this.

But...If its illegal than why are sites like Limewire. Google Video. Youtube. Just to name a few. Not shutdown or sued for copy right infringment. Because as long as I am not selling the stuff shouldnt it be okay. 216.211.66.52 10:30, 28 February 2007 (UTC)

I dont get what you are saying. There are hundreds of thousands of copyrighted Movies. Music. Images. Multimedia. Etc-Etc. I would just be puting links for the Episodes on some of the pages related to the subject. I would not be selling it. And I would not be using it to boost web traffic. On a sidenote did you know that the United States Government controls Google. Google Video is a division of Google and on the Tenth of October 2006 Google bought YouTube for 1.65 Billion Dollars thats 883 Million Pound Sterling. And the United States Government also controls major recording companies For films and music and Television Broadcasting companies. So pretty that much leaves copyright agreements null. If You would like some information on this and similar subjects I would be glad to give You some.

I would greatly appreciate Your comments on this Information 216.26.200.148 15:46, 1 March 2007 (UTC)

  • "I dont get what you are saying." Then you clearly didn't read the links. -- I need a name (Complain here) 18:14, 1 March 2007 (UTC)

Okay. I still do not understand what you are saying.Could you please enlighten me by outlining what I would be doing wrong if I put links on the pages for the episodes 216.26.208.233 10:34, 2 March 2007 (UTC)

  • Obviously this is foolish trying to address you, but I will try anyway. Just because the U.S. Government controls Google and YouTube by association, does not mean that you can put up whatever you want on those sites. Why? Because as I need a name so bluntly put, there are copyright infringements by doing so. So when you put up episodes of a cartoon show that should not be there, even if they are still existing to this day, you are doing something illegal. Now when you link us to sites that are illegally hosting those episodes, you are roping us into that illegal practice. Why don't we want this? We don't want to be shut down. That's why we try so hard not to plagiarize other sites, to put up accidentally leaked pictures from new comics, and to upload images from Hyperspace. It's illegal to do so, and we'd like our website to stay up for as long as possible. Cull Tremayne 10:57, 2 March 2007 (UTC)

I wanted to hear what I need a name's comment would be. But your information was greatly appreciated to Cull.Thank You.

P.S. I still want to hear I need a name's comment on this. And no offense intended but Cull could you try to sound a little nicer in your comments. As I would like to become a User and ask questions and post comments without wondering if the responses I am going to be getting back are going to be Belittling. Scathing.Rude.Impatient.Obnoxious.Just to name a few. Not that I am implying that yours was any of the above.216.26.209.196 12:53, 2 March 2007 (UTC)

  • I'm sorry I was blunt, but you were given places to go to see just why we do not allow links like that. Please realize that most anonymous users are here to vandalize, and I do try to treat regular users with respect. I wasn't trying to be belittling, but if you can't understand that putting links to copyrighted material is a no-no, then we need to establish why that is a problem real quick. Cull Tremayne 17:12, 2 March 2007 (UTC)
  • Now that I have checked into the matter more deeply I understand. I am sorry for my earlier confusion. And you don't have to worry about me vandalizing anything. But I see a few IP's that are blocked are similar to mine so if My IP is ever blocked for vandalizing anything and and I didn't vandalize anything is there a way I can get a hold of a admin to unblock it. 216.211.73.53 11:02, 3 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Do we really need...

...the Main Events section? It's long and pondering and I don't think it's necessary. I think we could just transfer the information there into a plot summary. Unit 8311 16:18, 8 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] redlinks

there should be a redlinks waning here. Imperialwalker 21:54, 20 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Inconsistent continuity changes

There is a major plot hole in this animated series: when Palpatine appears as the Chancellor, he has smooth teeth; however, when he appears as Darth Sidious his teeth are extra-sharp and fang-like; this is an inconsistency with Star Wars canon, since Palpatine and Sidious are the same character, making it impossible for the two identities to have different tooth jobs; I'm guessing this was purposely done in order to avoid giving hints that the Chancellor is also the Sith Lord before the release of Ep. III - ROTS, but it's still a plot hole within the overall SW continuity. Could someone prove to me the meaning of this motif? Supi&Oola 00:01, 26 September 2007 (UTC)

  • Hmm... never noticed that. Maybe he's wearing false teeth. I don't know. But I think there are larger continuity issues out there than this. :) The whole series was ultra-stylized and not very realistic, so I figure it was just artistic license. GeneralTarfful 23:07, 11 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Fanon?

I thought Star Wars: Clone Wars was non-canon, so what is it doing on Wookieepedia? And if it is non-canon, shouldn't it be transfered to the Star Wars Fanon Wiki?Unsigned comment by StarWarsDude (talk • contribs).

  • Wherever did you hear such a thing? No, that's not true at all, and even if it were, we would still cover it because it is an official Star Wars production. -- Ozzel 03:45, 4 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Dead Links

The links to clonewarz.com and the SW.com Clone Wars Hyperspace site are now dead--or, more precisely, point to different and unrelated pages. Have they just moved, or are they truly dead and gone? GeneralTarfful 23:09, 11 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Woolie

Could someone point out the Woolie to me? The closest thing I saw was in Episode 21 in the C-3P0 scene. I watched all of the episodes listed on the Corascant page, and that was the only one with a crowd. What I found didn't have their distinguishing nose, though. 76.116.79.228 00:18, 28 June 2008 (UTC)

Also, a mention should be made about Jack's symbol, the square with a line through each side, being incorporated into the "O" in the Clone Wars logo. I think it is a family symbol or something, as his father was an emperor. It is in many episodes of the Samurai Jack series. 76.116.79.228 01:49, 28 June 2008 (UTC)
