[edit] Species of Endor

I've gone through the species listed in this article and toned down the language some. A lot of them made the claim that the species were native to Endor, when in fact, that is not certain. The EU has established that Endor has a strange gravitational pull and that this has caused some people to get stranded there. Noa Briqualon, the Towani family, and the Marauders are the most notable examples. It's not a stretch of the imagination to think that Moot, Morag, the Gorphs, etc., could also be natives to other planets who got stranded on Endor. This also prevents Endor from having dozens of native sentient species. Therefore, anytime a species has not been firmly established as being native to Endor, I have changed the language to "found on Endor" (as opposed to "native to Endor").

Also, as it appears that figures like the Sun King and the Snow King have been established to be Ewok gods, I have made the assumption that the Iceheads and Frost Sprites are not sapient species but rather spirits. "Sprite" does mean "a small or elusive supernatural being", after all. Many other weird or wacky beings on Endor could easily be explained away as part of Ewok mythology, but I'll leave that to future EU writers. Let's hope they get busy soon. :) — SavageBob 00:57, 20 April 2006 (UTC)

PATHETIC! Why would they make a crappy movie about talking ewoks? a load of BS Unsigned comment by 66.218.11.8 (talk • contribs).

  • Why, simply to anger you, of course. -- Ozzel 05:56, 7 June 2006 (UTC)

No matter what they say, it'll take a looong time before my mind can accept this as canon... --Gurbiza 11:00, 4 November 2006 (UTC)

Same here. Especially after watching this: [1]. --Milo FettComlink 03:57, 12 December 2006 (UTC)

Oh yes, I can honestly say this is ten times worse than Jar Jar. Our little Gungan is what he is, but at least his existence is the Star Wars universe is, if nothing else, possible. What is the canon level of this Ewok rubbish supposed to be, anyway? --Gurbiza 16:01, 16 December 2006 (UTC)

  • Lucas served as executive producer of the series, but it is still C-canon like most other EU. Adamwankenobi 23:04, 16 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] The Wicket Wall

One of my animation professors, Brian Lemay, worked on Ewoks. He told my class there was a wall they devoted there of drawings of Wicket being killed and gutted. I think this would be a great thing to add to the series details.

  • LOL! Cool, thanks for the info. Adamwankenobi 03:34, 2 April 2007 (UTC)
    • A) That is horrible. B) Wouldn't that be original research? -- Ozzel 03:38, 2 April 2007 (UTC)
      • Well, I'll see if he could upload it onto the net somewhere, since he has some photocopies of the wall in a book format, but due to Easter i wont see him until the 13th. Also i just noticed he's in an interview on Rebelscum that's linkned on the bottom of the page... Too bad he makes no mention there.
        • Thanks. I'll be looking forward to seeing that once you get a chance to upload it. Adamwankenobi 05:24, 2 April 2007 (UTC)
