What qualifies as a "prominent" voice actor? Is it the actor themselves, or the roles they play? If the former is the case, I have no problem; it's only the latter I'm concerned about. // ~mikah~ 19:04, 1 October 2008 (UTC)

• I would define a "prminent" actor as one of the main charachters but if it can be proven that someone spoke for the game as "Additional voices," they should be listed after those who we know played named parts. NaruHina ^Talk 03:27, 7 October 2008 (UTC)

Revan is the first main character listed and the article pretty much details what happens to you in the game in that short entry. Should there be a spoiler warning? Or have that initial entry reduced? The storyline is one the greatest in gaming, including the plot twist, and anyone reading this article while getting into the game before that twist is probably going to be pretty pissed off... • Our spoiler policy dictates that, up until a month from the release, the spoiler tag is to be used. This game has been out for 3 years now, so that period is long gone. Also, the entire wiki contains spoilers; we alert users to this fact on the Main Page. It said M15+ originally, I changed it to PG because I live in Australia and own the game. It's PG, not M. In short, the reference was wrong, and I'm yet to find a correct reference (Google isn't helping for some reason.) Anyway, to sum up, it's PG, not M. Cheers. AHS0KA.

  • I have the box in front of me as I type this, and in fact it's G 8+, an old version rating which translates to 'PG' in the new system, as shown on this fact sheet here: [1] This site [2] also gives a PG rating. I don't know who came up with M 15+, but even the OFLC isn't that stringent. I can get a photo if you want, but I hope you won't require one. It's not like I have a reason to lie about this.     • All the other game collections I've come across such as 'Best of PC' tend to have blanket ratings for the whole volume, going with the highest and then applying it to each one, which in this case would be Republic Commando's M 15+. If you check I strongly suspect you'll find that all disks say 'Recommended for Mature Audiences'. I believe the game was always intended to have a G 8+/PG rating in Australia. Perhaps it would warrant a BTS note but I'm positive PG is the right one for the infobox. CommanderJB 13:29, 13 November 2008 (UTC)

            • Before JB and apparently Ahsoka changed it, it was sourced to http://www.gamepro.com.au/index.php/id;37646291;fp;2;fpid;223 which clearly indicates an M(15+) rating for the game in OFLC.               • It certainly is confusing but can I reiterate please that the "Best of PC" version is an entirely different product and is rated as such by the OFLC, so its rating is bound to be different thanks to the other games in the volume. I would also like to point out that I have a copy of the game, rated very shortly after release (as is evidenced by the use of the old system), and it has an equivalent PG rating. Nor have I ever once seen an M 15+ rated copy anywhere. I find it easier to believe that GamePro got it wrong as it does not match what I have seen in real life, unlike sources which give a G 8+/PG rating, which I have already posted.                 • "Best of PC" games are sold seperately I believe as it is like a platinum title. Regardless, it is still currently rated M(16+) but I will not change it back until a consensus is reached, or possibly the compromise of just sriking it from the page all together.                   • My apologies, I do not wish to start a heated argument over this, but I don't believe that's correct. 'Star Wars: The Best of PC' is a single product; a 'box set' if you will, sold together, containing six separate games: Star Wars: Empire at War, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, Star Wars: Battlefront, Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast, and Star Wars: Republic Commando. They are not sold separately under a 'Best of PC' label. This can be seen on the Star Wars official site [3], GameSpot [4], Wikipedia [5] and anywhere else you care to search. As it is a single product it is given a single rating by the OFLC. This single rating is determined by the most mature content in the compilation. In this case, this is found in Republic Commando. Just because Knights of the Old Republic appears in this resulting M 15+ rated product does not mean it is also rated M 15+. The rating is the maximum rating for the compilation's contents, not the rating for all of its contents. As such, as a separate game, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic remains the PG rating found both on the real-life boxes, the GamesPortal site I referenced earlier, this [6] Gameswarehouse Australia site, this [7] online Australian department store, this [8] retailer, this [9] retailer, and generally every single site on the internet selling the game in Australia as a separate product. If they had re-rated it for the Best of PC version you'd rather expect all new copies to carry the rating, and as they do not I believe this is demonstrative of the fact the original game product, the subject of the article, carries the PG rating in Australia. [edit] Galaxy Droid replacing Galaxy Map

I'm playing and I decided to open the box that is to be transported Mozza. I open it and it is a Rakatan prison and has a prisoner. after talking to him and beating him in a riddle contest I was allowed to leave. when I got out I found that my crew had been moved and a floating druid titled "Galaxy Droid" was in the cockpit. the Galaxy Map is no longer an option.

this droid allows you to go anywhere instantly Taris Endar Spire Dantooine after you found out Malak has bombed it the Rakatan World, and the Star Forge.

all without going through any of the story line.

what is this?

• Its exactly what it sounds like, an in game cheat bot. It allows you to go anywhere (But two of them will freeze your game, the Unknown World is one of them). I really object to someone removing the thing I added about it being now available to download from Steam. Maybe it belongs elsewhere in the article, I concede that point, but it should be noted in the article that the game went up for download LEGALLY on September 5, 2009. I would agree if it were suddenly on a Torrent, cause that's illegal, but Steam and the other one (I think it's Direct2Drive) are perfectly legal and the game's presence on those paid, legal services should be noted. I say this because the guy who removed it said it was on grounds that it's against copyright, which isn't true in the slightest. • This man speaks the truth. Steam is a perfectly legal way of paying for and downloading games online. It's the most widely used method of legally downloading games and is becoming more and more popular. Initially the application only sold Valve games (Half-Life, Counter-Strike, etc) but over the past few years other video game publishers have been releasing their games over Steam. It looks like LA finally decided to put KotOR on Steam, along with a few other Star Wars games (BF2, RC). Xicer9^(Combadge) 23:01, September 12, 2009 (UTC)
  • • I'd never heard of Steam before, other than it was an online place for the download of games (assumably illegal), and was unaware that it was, in fact, legit, my apologies for that. Regardless, that it appears as downloadable on a site on the internet is non-notable for the article. I thought it might be noteworthy, especially sine it's now Vista-compatible and will presumably be Windows 7 compatible (that was a major issue for the KOTOR series, that it could not be played on new PCs). Perhaps where I put it was not appropriate, but I still think that something like that might be placed in Behind the Scenes. But I will defer for now. Can we remove it? There aren't any red links, what's it's purpose? I was going to remove it myself and then I noticed a message in the edit code requesting that it NOT be removed. Maybe it's because I'm OCD, but any banner like this takes away from the visual appeal of any page, especially the featured ones. I don't want to sound rude, but I don't think it's worth leaving up for the sake of one person's convenience. I've also got "New Guy" syndrome and don't want to overstep my bounds, but I'm gonna remove it in a few days if there's no reason to leave it.--Trajec 04:51, September 29, 2009 (UTC)

• The user who placed the template there was intending to and has added many links to articles for those involved in production (ie. those in the credits). I don't know if they have finished with that yet but I do know that they have recently been blocked for a while so I see no reason to leave it up; they won't be making many additions to it whilst blocked and it does not have any redlinks in it. uh real fast if anyone cn help me. i loved KOTOR 1+2 but being original xbox games they wont work on my 360. Is there a way to make them work?

• This link will explain the process. The easiest way is to hook up your 360 to the internet, then you can download emulators for many original XBOX games, including KotOR 1 and 2, which will then let you play them, since they're not inherently backwards-compatible.
