The DS might have been orbited by a ship in the film, right before Alderaan is blown up, you see the planet from two different angles. One is from the DS's, but the other might be from a ship in formation with it, perhaps part of a fleet sent to blockade the planet and prevent escape from the surface? Original Concept of the Game? Edit

I know RA for a long time, and honestly, I've really enjoy playing it. But, the question might seems stupid but, I've always wondered: why having made THAT story for the game? I mean, why LEC guys have not reproduced, or at least followed, the "official" story from Episode IV? Or why they haven't made a completely new story? I've never understood that way to copy ANH story and change main elements (characters, events chronology...). What was the meaning of this? Was it due to rights troubles at that time? I really don't know. So, is there some article, or interview that can answer that?

Not HothEdit

I've just played through the entire game, and not once is it spcified that the icy planet in the middle of the game is supposed to be Hoth. The name is not mentioned once. Yes, it bears a ridiculous similarity to it, as do the events that occur there, but stranger leaps have been taken to maintain continuity. I submit that this planet is not Hoth, nor are the events that occur there the Battle of same. There are plenty of snow-planets in the EU, this could be any one of them.     • That's unfortunate, as it seems the game designers went to the trouble of keeping it intentionally vague in the game (it's the only planet not given a name in dialogue or chapter titles), only to have (possibly non-LA?) writers put that in the manual and on the box. It seems that more than the Death Star trench run is non-canon, as Hoth was certainly not destroyed by the Death Star. I don't even need to explain or justify that. --118.210.11.180 17:17, September 28, 2011 (UTC)

• That may lend credence to the notion that it's not Hoth, though it's still an equally large assumption that the Death Star secretly destroyed another planet.
