Adding new items to appearancesEdit

Uprising has now been soft-launched in several regions, so how should we go about adding new things to the appearances section? Is it all right just to add these new things without citing them, or should the game itself just be cited? Cevan (talk) 21:56, July 21, 2015 (UTC)

3.3 Factual correction Edit

The concept artwork in the game was done by a host of artists, not just Mr. Matyas. Others include:

Zach Oldenkamp, Johannes Holm, David McNeal, Cullen Brown, Jordan Louie and Den Yang

to name but a few. Brian's work has become the advertising face of the game because he is a hell of an illustrator, but he isn't the only guy to lift a stylus in service to this project.

Release date Edit

Release date will be September 12, 2015.--46.10.55.231 14:29, September 3, 2015 (UTC)

Should the game have its own wikia Edit

Most other star wars games have their own, should make one for this game? Jksp (talk) 21:59, September 11, 2015 (UTC)

  • I don't think it needs its own wikia. Wookieepedia strives to be the #1 source for all Star Wars lore, including Star Wars: Uprising. We also have a Super Walkthrough that we're building for gameplay. An independent wikia would just duplicate that knowledge. - Brandon Rhea(talk) 22:02, September 11, 2015 (UTC)

Boras, the HuttEdit

Can someone tell me if Boras, the Hutt (the one in the trailer) appears in the game? Pedronog (talk) 15:01, September 12, 2015 (UTC)Pedronog

Is "the Uprising" the name of the movement? Edit

In the game, there's a guide that describes how "Sector Battles" work. Said description ends with "Hopefully the Uprising won and maybe even unlocked a brand new world!" Should we then turn the redirect "Uprising" into an article that describes the loose alliance of people against the Iron Blockade? --LelalMekha (talk) 16:12, September 13, 2015 (UTC)

  • At least from what's been in the game so far, it's not quite clear what the subject "Uprising" refers to. I think it's worth waiting until the available story missions in the game progress to a point where it's specifically clarified what the "Uprising" exactly is. CC7567 (talk) 20:55, September 14, 2015 (UTC)
    • Never mind, scratch that. CC7567 (talk) 20:56, September 14, 2015 (UTC)
      • Found a clearer reference somewhere? I did create the article, but it's not too late to delete it. --LelalMekha (talk) 21:01, September 14, 2015 (UTC)
        • No, I think it's fine for now. Obviously it would be nice to have more specific information about it, potentially whether it's the same overall entity that's conducting the in-game "Sector Battles," but hopefully there will be more info about it as the game progresses. Canon Edit

Is this piece of shit really canon? How in the hell is this game considered canonical while actually decent games like Knights of the Old Republic and Jedi Knight and The Force Unleashed are not? Unsigned comment by Mmwa (talk • contribs).

  • It's canon because Disney say it's canon, and because it is a part of the canon timeline established by the new films. The Force Unleashed, Knights of the Old Republic, and Jedi Knight are not. Plain and simple. Daxus Ren (talk) 16:36, December 31, 2015 (UTC)
(Edit conflict) Assuming this is not a rhetorical question, everything since April 25, 2014 is canon as George Lucas is no longer involved in Star Wars and it has become inclusive as the Lucasfilm Story Group oversees everything, unlike the past when anything he didn't involve himself in was C-canon, now known as Legends. Also canonicity =/= quality, otherwise Phantom Menace would not be canon. --Alientraveller (talk) 16:44, December 31, 2015 (UTC)

Canon Preservation Project Edit

Version 1.0 is now complete. This is incredible. Check it out.--ChristopherLeeGallant (talk) 00:59, June 24, 2017 (UTC)

  • Definitely! The original Jedi Council Forum post is also linked on the Data Seekers project page, and it's the only reason I was able to write the bio for Shortpaw. It's a fantastic resource! - Cwedin(talk) 01:10, June 24, 2017 (UTC)
