Star Wars Main Title
Edit
I am tempted to contribute, but I cannot cite my sources; I only listen to the movie ones. However, we could add another header that shows the evolution of the main title; it certainly changes much throughout the two trilogies. For example, if you listen to the Episode IV one, the trumpet is most strident and clear in it, especially the descending scale after the minor "lull" in the middle. As I can record the music from the Star Wars movies (in lower quality and definitely not all for it to be considered fair use), I can supply samples as requested, if needed. After all, Wikipedia has samples; why shouldn't we? Please consider my comment.

Oh, yes; and one more thing: I would like to add that the main title leans heavily on the brass section, and several harp cues can be heard in the soundtrack (at least for episode III). Can anyone back me up on this? I mean, does anyone have an episode I or II soundtrack to see if I was right?

- The recording of the main title is the same for each of the prequels, the recording done for The Phantom Menace. But yes, it might be good to note the differences between the recordings. -- Ozzel 01:22, 25 April 2007 (UTC)
- Really? I mean, in the movies you can hear a difference between episode IV and I, surely....—Unsigned comment by Keelu Kenobi (talk • contribs).
- Yes, definitely. What I said was, each of the original films has its own recording, but the prequels each use the same 1999 recording. And yes, there are definitely differences between the four recordings. -- Ozzel 01:36, 25 April 2007 (UTC)
In pop culture
Edit
Can anyone find any site to reference for the "In popular culture" section. I've looked for a while, but can't find any reputable ones. Master Fredcerique Begun the Clone Wars has † 12:46, September 22, 2010 (UTC)
