Talk:Star Wars Tales
Back to page
I'm adding in some information from the actual individual issues regarding the fact that the infinities were literally tales from the Star Wars Universe, much like folk lore of Earth. Want me to copy down the opening in-universe statements from Peeja Mobet (both from page 02 of the 1st and 2nd issue)? --LightWarden 02:33, 1 August 2006 (UTC)

Canon and non-canon
Edit
I may be wrong, but I dont see a part of this article that mentions which parts of it are canon and which are non-canon. I'd really like to see that as we all know that Darth Maul vs Darth Vadar made it into canon. Chipmonk328
Cancelled?
Edit
Why was the series cancelled? Doesn't anyone suppose the reason should be added to the article? 64.180.93.200 15:23, 11 April 2009 (UTC)
Arbitrary
Edit
Listing canonicity by issue seems strange. Why not just list by story, and indicate which issue they're in? —Milo Fett[Comlink] 17:52, September 3, 2010 (UTC)

The following is merged talk page content from Talk:List of Tales stories with elements of continuity, which was deleted per Wookieepedia:Trash compactor/List of Tales stories with elements of continuity. Toprawa and Ralltiir 22:48, March 8, 2012 (UTC)
Canon Update
Edit
Guys, you should read this
Heart of Darkness
Edit
- There seems to be some concern over Heart of Darkness. It appears to be non-canon (takes place at the wrong time to be Yoda fighting the Bpfasshi Dark Jedi, main character is named Minch, not Yoda, etc.), but are elements canon? Should it be listed with a footnote? — Silly Dan 03:56, 6 Jan 2006 (UTC)
- I've removed "A Jedi's Weapon" from the "entirely within continuity" list, because the Free Comic Book Day comic had a big Infinities logo on the inside cover. TalonCard 06:48, 24 March 2006 (UTC)
- Ah, I put it there because one of the TFN threads I compiled this from mentioned it didn't have one. Guess they didn't look hard enough. - Lord Hydronium 06:53, 24 March 2006 (UTC)
Sandstorm
Edit
I don't see Sandstorm referenced at all in the NEC Profiles in History: The Skywalkers. Cutch 03:27, 10 April 2006 (UTC)
- The reference is the mention that Owen and Beru claimed Luke was named "Skywalker" to honor Shmi. It's mentioned in the NEC endnotes. - Lord Hydronium 05:49, 10 April 2006 (UTC)
Resurrection
Edit
What was the reference to Resurrection in The Dark Forces Saga, Part 5? Was it just the use of Kalakar as a planet/moon name? 68.44.13.236 05:16, 9 May 2007 (UTC)
- Yep. It specifically having six moons, too. - Lord Hydronium 05:37, 9 May 2007 (UTC)
The Sith in Shadow
Edit
The Ultimate Visual Guide is listed as a source for indicating that this story has canon elements. But from what I can see, there's nothing in that book that mentions this Tales story at all. -- 20 Aug 2007
