- For now the Corp Sector Authority's IRD-A will point to the IRD article, since it briefly describes the IRD-A. - Finlayson 20:49, 11 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Y-wing
- Why is the Y-wing included under Galactic Republic? I don't see anything saying it was even around at that time.--Darth Oblivion 23:24, 28 July 2006 (UTC)
- I'm not sure who did it, but the Y-wing's been moved to the section on Rebel starfighters(UTC).Jwebb13

[edit] Nubian Legine Starfighter
I deleted this from the list of "Other" starfighters, as the only reference to it I've been able was a talk page for a fanon creation. If anyone else can find an acceptable source referring to these craft, put them back in, but until then, the Legines are out of luck. Jwebb13

Its cool but, obviously, fanon. User:RougeHawk09 18:49, 5 January 2007 (CST)

[edit] How do you steer this thing?
I am looking for explanations or theories of how starfighters are able to turn their direction of flight in space (or for that matter in air), since at least the films' prominently featured ones reveal no directing boosters or thrust vector flaps, or even ailerons (if empty space in the SW universe were to be considered some sort of ether with air-like physics - someone watching RotS might come to this conclusion). Thrust just comes straight out the back, yet they are able to be piloted with extreme maneuverability. Do they use some invisible force akin to a repulsorlift, or is it generally accepted that there is no explanation for the airplane-like flight of these small spacecraft? -75.89.143.97 04:29, 10 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Rise of the Empire vs Rebellion era starfighters
It doesn't make any sense that the ships from the rise of the empire era (Eta-2, V-Wing, ARC-170) have such a faster maximum speed then the starfighters of the Rebellion era (X-Wing, TIE Fighter, TIE Interceptor). Can anyone explain this to me? Tradeon

- It's about cost, fighters cost less during a war and are constintly upgraded and redesinged or replaced with new ones. The rebellion could not afford the costant upgrades, refits etc while the empire decided to go for less is more idea! ~ Awar 18:12, 28 March 2008 (UTC).
