Talk:Superweapon
Back to page
Can this be renamed to "Superweapon?" That's by far the more common term in Star Wars, and I can't even recall if I've ever heard "planet killer" used. As far as I cna tell, the only reason this article is even called "planet killer" is because someone copied the article form Wikipedia. Kuralyov 01:44, 19 Jul 2005 (UTC)
- "Planet killer" was the article name at Wikipedia. It should be changed to superweapon. -- Riffsyphon1024 01:47, 19 Jul 2005 (UTC)
- Agreed. I don't think I've even *seen* "planet killer" used in SW, but "superweapon" sees regular use. jSarek 01:48, 19 Jul 2005 (UTC)

Centerpoint
Edit
I haven't read Joiner King, but from what I've read on TFN, there's some debate as to whether the Killiks made Centerpoint Station...Kuralyov 03:59, 28 Aug 2005 (UTC)
- So in TFN speculation, I should retract this? -- Riffsyphon1024 04:14, 28 Aug 2005 (UTC)
- Killik minds are "flexible" do to their hive mentality, so it sould be suspect. -- SFH 04:22, 28 Aug 2005 (UTC)
- Here is the thread in question. The theory seems to be that the Celestials mentioned by the Killiks in the book made Centerpoint, the reason the Killiks think that they themselves made it is because they absorbed some Celestials into their hive mind, and the fact that when directly asked if the Killiks made it, Raynar doesn't actually answer. - I reworded that part to say "... believed to be created by an unknown race known as the Killiks..." Cmdr. J. Nebulax 13:55, 28 Aug 2005 (UTC)
Yuuzhan Vong
Edit
- Are dovin basals and the Sh'rip Sh'pa really superweapons? The first is basically an organic shield, the second is a carrier - Kwenn 11:10, 14 Jan 2006 (UTC)
- I doubt it. Admiral J. Nebulax 13:09, 14 Jan 2006 (UTC)
Republic Superweapon
Edit
Shouldn't someone add the Republic superweapon that destroyed Equanus to the article? 141.154.180.124 18:05, 29 March 2006 (UTC)
- You mean the planetbuster? Admiral J. Nebulax (talk) 20:08, 29 March 2006 (UTC)
- If that's what it's called.. I remember reading about it in Jedi Healer but that was a long time ago. 141.154.180.124 20:39, 29 March 2006 (UTC)
- Well, that's what it says on the Equanus article. Admiral J. Nebulax (talk) 20:57, 29 March 2006 (UTC)
- Alright. Back to the orginial question, should this planetbuster be mentioned on the Superweapon article? 141.154.180.124 21:07, 29 March 2006 (UTC)
- Well, it said that it was a test for the Death Star project, so I suppose so. Admiral J. Nebulax (talk) 22:02, 29 March 2006 (UTC)

Most Powerful
Edit
- I say that the Star Forge is the most powerful (yes, I know this is completely random). —Unsigned comment by 151.203.226.99 (talk • contribs).

Naga Sadow's Flagship
Edit
- Should Naga Sadow's Flagship be added to the article? It can caused supernova, despite needing a Force-sensitive to operate it. Darth Kevinmhk 11:17, 20 June 2006 (UTC)
- Sure. Add it. KEJ 11:29, 20 June 2006 (UTC)
Rokur Gepta's electromagnetic torpedo
Edit
This didn't destroy things, but one cubic millimeter could kill all life on a planet and render it uninhabitable for billions of years. Would that count? Thanos6 11:54, 20 June 2006 (UTC)

One list?

Anyone else think we should combine those two lists into one? Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision)

Bioweapons?
Edit
Do Alpha Red and the other bioweapons qualify as superweapons? Most of them were far more destructive in terms of life lost than, say, the Death Stars, if not in property. Evir Daal 15:46, 8 March 2007 (UTC)
- That's a tough question. Well, we definitely need a bioweapon article. —Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision)

Pulsar Station
Edit
It is essentially a superweapon. Not a created one, but a superweapon, nonetheless.--Uncanny474 21:08, 14 May 2009 (UTC)
The Force could be considered a superweapon of sorts
Edit
Since it can technically (with a group of force sensitives, or one powerful enough) destroy planets and has been seen causing immensely wide destruction, as is with the Supernova spell. Maybe somebody could add a "Force-based Superweapons" of some sort here? Or just some little note "the Force might technically be considered a superweapon, since (with a group/individual strong enough) it can cause even galaxywide destruction".
I, in fact (stupidly, without really considering) made an edit to that direction under Vader's comment, but it was (I think, rightfully, because it was a little off topic), but I think the Force definately needs more of a mention here. Some diffrent uses, maybe?

Incomplete
Edit
I think the Eclipse should be on the list due to it being almost a faster version of the Death Star. I mean if you put the malevolence on it and it's from clone wars which any REAL star wars fan would agree in an inaccurate disgrace to Star Wars--Ultimate silver fan 01:31, April 18, 2010 (UTC)
