Canonicity of THX-1138Edit

Does this article need a canon tag?

• In the film, he is TK-421, but in the novel, he is THX-1138. It seems to be generally accepted that in terms of canonicity, the films override anything else if there is a conflict.
• If THX-1138 appears in the game Galactic Battlegrounds, does he appear as an individual "hero" unit, or do all of the stormtrooper units in the game say the THX-1138 clip? Would that be a mere reference then?

If THX-1138 is considered non-canon should there be a canonicity-related tag, or should this page simply redirect to TK-421? Muuuuuurgh 16:17, 2 February 2006 (UTC)

I don't know, but I'm also wondering what makes the appearance in GB non-canonical. Contradicting the ANH novel isn't a problem, as the appearance there is already non-canonical. --Andrew Nagy 06:30, 27 April 2008 (UTC)
