Model information
Edit
The TIE/sa studio model was built using the panels from a 1/36 ERTL TIE x1 kit. Could we include this in 'Behind the Scenes'? 12seraph 00:53, November 16, 2011 (UTC)
- That falls under the category of trivia and should not be included. GethralkinHyperwave 09:59, November 18, 2011 (UTC)
Armament
Edit
Where are the laser cannons on this ship? Because, contrary to what the archives say, they are not below the cockpit, nor are they mounted on the panels. Don't people here watch the movies? 12seraph 02:57, November 17, 2011 (UTC)
- Wing-mounted, not wingpanel-mounted. The laser cannons are mounted on the front of the middle section of wing that spans the distance between the cockpit and the weapons pod. GethralkinHyperwave 10:09, November 18, 2011 (UTC)
- But those are the "Twin Ion Engines", according to the schematics (which visually misrepresent the ship but uses terminology that has not been contradicated by higher sources to my knowledge). Or are you referring to something other than the "Ordinance pod"? 12seraph 23:39, November 18, 2011 (UTC)
- Forgive my wording, let me be more accurate in my description. Between right panel and cockpit and then again between left panel and pod. One on each wing. GethralkinHyperwave 16:47, November 19, 2011 (UTC)

life support? launchers?
Edit
The spec box lists the bomber as having both concussion missle launchers and proton torpedo launchers. The rest of the page, along with the schematics, indicate a single multipurpose forward warhead launcher and a downward fireing bomb chute. ????
Also, it says it has life support. That doesnt seem right based on what we know about ties. Source?

- The sources are cited in the infobox. Star Wars: Empire at War: Prima Official Game Guide provides the information that you are interested in regarding the life-support systems. Regardless of what you might expect of TIEs, the cited sources provide canon information. GethralkinHyperwave 04:53, February 15, 2012 (UTC)
