Mother?[]

It looks like there's an error in here. Talzin's listed as the mother of Darth Maul in the Canon section here, but wasn't his mother Kycina? In the Kycina article, it says she gave her son up to keep him from being trapped in the life of the Nightbrothers. --LadyVader Peace is a lie 09:11, January 17, 2015 (UTC)

  • In the Canon continuity, Mother Talzin is the Maul's mother. - AV-6R7User talk:AV-6R7 09:13, January 17, 2015 (UTC)
    • Correct. To go into a bit more detail, the Expanded Universe said that Darth Maul's mother was named Kycina. However, the Expanded Universe is no longer part of the official Star Wars canon, and has been rebranded as Star Wars Legends. In the official canon, it was revealed that Mother Talzin is indeed Darth Maul's mother. This was revealed in Darth Maul—Son of Dathomir 3, which was based on what would have been an episode of Star Wars: The Clone Wars called "Proxy War." Therefore, the Talzin page will say that Maul was her son, but Talzin—which, for now, is the Legends page—will not. Same with Darth Maul; that page identifies Talzin as his mother, but Darth Maul—currently the Legends page—says Kycina. - Brandon Rhea(talk) 17:23, January 17, 2015 (UTC)

Is she only Maul's mother or is she also Savage Oppress and Feral's mother? I'm re-watching The Clone Wars now and so far it doesn't seem to say if they were half or full brothers. I'm also wondering if Feral is even Maul's brother (the articles say so) but if Maul was Oppress' half brother then it is possible that Feral was Oppress' brother but not Maul's. • All we have is Talzin's word that Maul and Savage are brothers, and she isn't exactly known for her honesty. I noted in the article how she treats all three differently, but we don't have any official word on the issue. The Shadow Emperor (talk) 18:37, April 7, 2015 (UTC)
