Azizlight - I'm gonna start to tool around with this myself, in addition to whatever you're planning. I'll start by filling out the list of features, so they're all linked and working.CooperTFN 23:11, 1 Nov 2005 (UTC)

  • Sounds good, i'll leave it to you :-) Thanks. --Azizlight 23:12, 1 Nov 2005 (UTC)

Out of Universe[]

'Ello mate, just wondering what was wrong with the "military class" pages so I could fix them up as soon as possible. Thanks. RSVP 64.252.121.7 01:28, 16 Nov 2005 (UTC)

  • I don't know what you mean. CooperTFN 01:34, 16 Nov 2005 (UTC)
    • Someone's been making a bunch of articles on military classes. Apparently this anon has a problem with someone altering them. -- Riffsyphon1024 21:01, 16 Nov 2005 (UTC)
      • But what's that got to do with TFN? CooperTFN 00:33, 17 Nov 2005 (UTC)
        • Nothing. They probably don't know how to reach you on your talk page yet. -- Riffsyphon1024 06:47, 17 Nov 2005 (UTC)

CUSWE[]

Riff - okay, I admit that I kinda boosted it a bit, but would you object to my at least taking the third occurrence of the word "unofficial" out? I think twice, once with the addition of "Completely", is enough to get the point. And anyway, it still should be rewritten for grammar. CooperTFN 20:49, 28 Nov 2005 (UTC)

  • You can copyedit it for grammar, but we just want it as neutral as possible. -- Riffsyphon1024 21:04, 28 Nov 2005 (UTC)

Artistic License[]

Man; looking back, I can't believe how POVish I wrote this thing. I should go through it and tinker sometime. CooperTFN 07:19, 13 February 2006 (UTC)

Move[]

Shouldn't the "inside jokes" section be moved to the (rather lacking) Jedi Council Forums article instead? -- Ozzel 08:02, 16 March 2007 (UTC)

  • I didn't know there was a JCF article. Yes, I think they should be moved there. - Sikon 09:22, 16 March 2007 (UTC)

BTS[]

The following sentence is included in the BTS: "Noteworthy examples are the opinions presented by Dr. Saxton in his aforementioned Technical Commentaries, the role the all-volunteer site plays in the for-profit businesses run by Mr. Wise, and rules barring the inclusion of controversial elements, primarily homosexuality, in fanfiction; homosexuality and bisexuality, in fact, are almost completely barred from the site and message boards, regardless of context." Is this necessary? It's completely irrelevant to the general content. For the most part, homosexuality is not considered a topic to be discussed anywhere. It's not related to Star Wars, and is not something particularly unusual. Could someone who is a regular contributor to TFN share their thoughts? I suggest removing this, but would like to hear other opinions first. Chack Jadson (Talk) 20:37, 7 April 2008 (UTC)

  • What exists now is actually a toned-down version of what was originally there. There were a couple people who felt that certain controversies TFN had been involved in were worth mentioning, and that paragraph was an attempt to do so in a fair way. It's not an issue of whether the topics are relevant to Star Wars, because they're noteworthy information about the article's subject. As for homosexuality not being a topic to be discussed "anywhere", I feel a great deal of pity for the environment you've apparently found yourself in. It's certainly no longer fitting to say that it's not related to Star Wars. Coop 19:16, 11 April 2008 (UTC)
