• Actually, it was two separate battles. There was Zsinj's raid on Kuat, and then there was the Solo Fleet's attack on the Iron Fist and Razor's Kiss, which took place between star systems and several hours later. 71.236.33.191 10:11, 11 April 2006 (UTC)
  • We need to move most of this stuff to another article, then. Since the battle between the Solo Fleet and Zsinj's ships took place in empty space, I suggest Battle for the Razor's Kiss, based on the precedent of Battle for the Katana fleet (the only other battle I can think of at the moment that didn't take place near any star system. The Razor's Kiss was the focal point of the battle, so in lieu of a named location it's the only logical way to name the battle. Red XIV 00:32, 5 May 2006 (UTC)

How do we do this? Edit

Putting the battle statistics I realized that in actuality there were three forces. Zsinj's, Solo's, and Kuat's. Try as I may, I can not have three forces in the box. This is ludicrous for it's quite apparent that more that two forces were at work--Herbsewell 03:59, 2 October 2006 (UTC)

Expansion Edit

Could we digress more on the battle itself, like how two Mon Calamari Cruisers smaller than an ISD and a few fighter squadrons defeated two Executor-class Star Dreadnoughts?

• Quite simply really. Razor's Kiss was in no shape to fight, running on slave-rig as she was, plus the 'parasite' attackers were able to disable the shields on both ships by knocking out the sensor-dome projectors. It left Zsinj with no option but to get out fast before he lost the Iron Fist as well. DarthSeafort 14:23, 17 March 2007 (UTC)

• The sensor domes have auxilliary shields with localized effect in them (ITW:OT, SW:CL). WEG invented "shield generator domes" and some authors used that in books. If anything, this shows the ship as being in even worse shape, if those auxilliary shields was all it had. VT-16 14:12, 19 March 2007 (UTC)

Article split Edit

I've split the Zsinj vs New Republic battle away from this article and into Battle for the Razor's Kiss, as suggested above by RedXIV. Given that the latter battle was nowhere near the Kuat system and no Imperial forces were involved, it seems to make sense. DarthSeafort 15:11, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
