Is there a source for stating that the 501st Legion was part of the 3rd Systems Army?Ciphe 20:05, 2 July 2008 (UTC)

Grand Army Structure Edit

I was thinking that in addition to the basic command structure shown on the page,
it might be useful to try to compile a structure of the actual army itself, along
with their respective clone commanders and Jedi generals. A rought example being:

*Third System Army (Led by Obi-Wan Kenobi)
  *7th Sky Corps
    *212th Attack Battalion
    *442nd Siege Battalion
  *501st Legion
  * etc...

Systems Army? Really?Edit

There is no source that I know of that spells out "Third Systems Army." Palpatine called it the Third Army in a CW episode, and I do not know of any other instance of even that being used. The Essential Guide to Warfare lists the twenty Sector Armies, generally only calling them the First Army, the Second Army, etc. If no one is able to provide me with a source explicitly stating "Third Systems Army," then I'm going to assume that it is, in fact, a Sector Army and propose a renaming of the article.
