Picture[]

I actually think the way the picture was before was better, as it actually placed it in a sort of context. (ie, with Quinlan in it.) QuentinGeorge 05:53, 8 Sep 2005 (UTC)

I brought the bio up to date. If someone'll just do entries for Salje' Tasha, Tsyr and Bok, this'll be a 100% red-free article. :) CooperTFN 06:14, 2 Nov 2005 (UTC)

Race?[]

Is Tholme a Human or Anzati? Seems weird that a human would be trained by an Anzati assassin.

  • He's a human. .... 11:50, 15 April 2007 (UTC)

Cyborg[]

The article mentions he's some sort of cyborg but doesn't elaborate. Anyone know in what ways he's a cyborg? -- I need a name (Complain here) 13:57, 28 January 2007 (UTC)

  • Star Wars Republic 72: Trackdown, Part 1 was, I believe, the first source to reveal Tholme has a cybernetic leg; he's sustained many injuries over his lifetime, though I don't know of any other cyborg parts - \\Captain Kwenn// Ahoy! 13:59, 28 January 2007 (UTC)
    • Having just skimmed through Trackdown, that's when Tholme gets his mechno-leg, having preferred to limp around on his own prior to that. The injury was apparently caused during his duel with Dooku on Bakura after the Battle of Geonosis, though it was likely also aggravated when he was crushed under rubble on Devaron in Jedi: Aayla Secura. Trackdown also establishes his left eye is not his own (having been taken by Dooku's blade on Bakura) so it's presumably artificial too - \\Captain Kwenn// Ahoy! 14:13, 28 January 2007 (UTC)

Survival[]

Does anyone know if Tholme's character has been planned for any future appearances? Humbone 13:28, 30 May 2007 (UTC)

Tholme's lightsaber skill[]

When Sora Bulq and Tholme duelled Count Dooku on Bakura, I seem to recall Dooku telling Tholme that he had kept his sword skills "in excellent practice." However, this article implies that his abilities in this area are sub-standard. Perhaps it would be astute to change the section in question to say something along the lines of, "Tholme kept his duelling talents in better practice than most Jedi, holding his own in combat against Count Dooku and later Sora Bulq. However, his injuries impaired his skills for a time until he had them repaired."

I would also like to point out that Tholme demonstrated Excellent Hand-to-Hand skills in the Republic Tackdown storyline, and this information should also be considered to be included in the article --Jacenskylo 08:49, 8 June 2007 (UTC)

  • (cough)...Wookieepedia not only allows but wants you to add, revise and edit the article yourself. It does require some amount of politeness, but it works. You'll see. --School of Thrawn 101 08:52, 8 June 2007 (UTC)
    • That assertion was based on the fact that Tholme basically loses every duel he enters, and prefers to chicken out. It's not a point of view, it's a track record. Thefourdotelipsis 07:45, 13 June 2007 (UTC)
  • In the spirit of the above mentioned cough I have rewritten the Powers and Abilities section to better reflect the likely skill level of someone who held his own in duels with Sora Bulq and Count Dooku, participated in multiple battles of the clone wars, proved a superb hand-to-hand combatant, and held the rank of Jedi master. If anyone disagrees with my rewrite I would be happy to discuss what would best reflect the opinion of the community. DarthTyranus 04:16, 10 February 2009 (UTC)
