Thyferra was under the control of the CIS? Why would the Republic allow the planet producing bacta be in the hands of the Separatists? Moreover, why would the Separatists need bacta, when most of their military was composed of battle droids? -- SFH 19:08, 29 January 2006 (UTC)

I was looking at the image of Thyferra on the main page of the article and it looks more like a shot of Earth - specifically the African continent to me - than it does any other world. 67.54.186.56 06:05, 24 February 2006 (UTC)

1. the Vratix are not humans. Mor eincentive for them to secede. 2. Something mentions other medical things for the Republic 3. The CIS Navy and some of their ground forces use bacta, as some are organics. 4. Giving bacta to worlds as incentive to seceds would be useful

The image on Thyferra's article page appears to show the continent of Africa, except that Tunisia is greened over, the Sahara looks whiter, and more desert is in south-central Africa, where jungles and southern savanna ought to be. That is the Earth. It was the image that the Star Wars Combine used to use for temperate breathable worlds that has since been replaced. - SWVRoma
