- When the Lucasfilm Story Group de-canonized much of the Expanded Universe and rebranded it as Star Wars Legends, they appear to have also done away with the BBY/ABY system sadly. All of the new canonical works published after A New Dawn do not use the BBY/ABY system. The new Star Wars Canon timeline does not seem to have an official dating system apart from the Lothal Calendar mentioned briefly in Star Wars Rebels: The Visual Guide. It seems the Story Group hasn't come up with a dating system. So, we have to make do without it until they come up with one. Andykatib 11:10, April 22 2016 (UTC)
Overlapping Events Edit
The year 1022 BBY has several events that are listed here, but are also take place on a different date at least 10 years earlier. Example: the years 1022 BBY and 1032 BBY are both listed as the time the Old Republic collapsed and was reformed as the Galactic Republic. There is also reference to 1032 BBY on the Darth Bane page.
What's the source for the dates of all of these events from thousands of years before the Clone Wars? We know that they happened, but how do we know when? Captain Britain04 (talk) 17:59, January 9, 2017 (UTC)
More detail on the Clone Wars? Edit
This list is severely lacking in details of the Clone Wars era, considering it has an entire canon TV series. 20 BBY is missing completely!
"Force sensitives gather to form the Jedi Order"? Edit
"[C. 10000 BBY] Force sensitives gather to form the Jedi Order, dedicated to the preservation of peace and justice. The world Ilum comes into their possession." How can that be sourced to the Ilum Databank entry? There's absolutely no hint of a date in there. --Lelal Mekha (Audience Room) 14:55, May 4, 2017 (UTC)
