Question about existence[]

"The Togruta were a sentient species from the planet Shili."

'Were'?

  • All articles are written in past tense, don't forget its 'a long time ago in a galaxy far far away' --Lewisr (talk) 02:00, August 15, 2017 (UTC)

Species name[]

Why is it that their Home Planet is called "Shilli" yet they are called "Togruta"? It is kind of weird, if you ask me.

New paragraphs?[]

Native to the Expansion Region planet Shili but later found throughout the galaxy, Togrutas were a species of sentient humanoids whose skin spanned a vast array of colors, including, but not limited to, orange, green, red, white, and yellow. These characteristics were a result of evolution; Togruta coloration was helpful as a method of camouflage from predators. new paragraph here Unlike most humanoids, Togrutas were known to have multiple stomachs, however, their most notable features were the large organic head formations upon their heads; two large cone-like horns called montrals atop their skull, and three lekku, also known as headtails, that sprouted downward. Both a Togruta's lekku and montrals tended to grow until they reached maturity, with females generally having longer lekku than the males. A Togruta's montrals allowed them to sense the movement of objects around them through echolocation, and could sense up to 82 feet.

The only reason why I think we should add a new paragraph here is because this sentence starts talking about the Togruta's stomaches and montrals. I also think that this whole piece of text without the paragraphs might be a bit too much of a chunk of infomation for someone to read all in one go.Unsigned comment by 122.107.8.233 (talk • contribs).

  • I've added a paragraph split. RattsT (talk) 11:47, 16 May 2022 (UTC)

Male Montrals[]

Whilst female Togruta have longer lekku than males, males have more angular montrals than females. Should we add this in the article or will it make the sentences too...wordy? Thanks!122.107.8.233 22:18, 6 June 2022 (UTC)

  • Ah, that does seem like a clear distinction, at least in The Clone Wars, so yeah, that's worth being documented in the article. OOM 224 16:08, 7 June 2022 (UTC)
    • Just to let you know, I've added that in the article. Thanks!122.107.8.233 01:02, 8 June 2022 (UTC)

Annoying Refence error[]

There is a reference error for Attack of the Clones: Cite error: Invalid <ref> tag; name "Episode II" defined multiple times with different content

However, everytime I open up the editor to fix this, the error is fixed. But when it's not in the editor, the reference is again an error, making this error hard to fix.122.107.8.233 01:02, 8 June 2022 (UTC)

  • Thanks for bringing it to attention, I have fixed that for you! Lewisr (talk) 01:04, 8 June 2022 (UTC)
