Talk:Tortured droid

Why is this conjecture if it has sources and/or appearances? -- Cato Neimoidia 21:53, 12 April 2006 (UTC)
- Read the "conjecture" tag - the title of the article is conjectural, not the content. jSarek 01:07, 10 May 2006 (UTC)
- Well, if it's mentioned in text form in Tales from Jabba's Palace, it's canon. There's no need for a conjecture tag. --Thetoastman 01:21, 17 May 2006 (UTC)
- Could someone please tell me where exactly its name can be read in 'Tales ...'? I've checked the story of EV-9D9, but at least it that story, there is no 2-1A. Are you sure this is THIS droid or just another of Jabba's protocol droids? I still believe this is fanon originated from Red 6. CUSWE doesn't have it either. --Sompeetalay 15:53, 5 June 2006 (UTC)
- I'm pretty sure this guy isn't the translator EV-9D9 was talking about. The way she describes the situation, it sounds like it'd been a significant amount of time since they'd had a translator, and that the previous one had already been destroyed. I think 2-1B's scream/torture at that exact moment was incidental (like "here's what they do to droids they don't like!") rather than an indication that he was the previous translator.

EV said that the protocol droid was "disintegrated". Having your arm pulled off =/= disintegration, especially since she was speaking in the past tense and this droid was still alive. 216.130.91.125 19:38, 2 October 2006 (UTC)
- Yes, this has fooled many fans. This droid is not the protocol droid that was 'disintegrated'. EV just mentioned the droid while pulling the arm off of another one. It's just a coincidence. Pilot

- Right, I believe it's a fact that this Medic Droid is not a Protocol Droid. I'm removing the misguided info. Inigo Montoya 09:12, 10 February 2007 (UTC)
- I call for a motion that this article's title be changed to "Tortured 2-1B surgical droid". Inigo Montoya 07:11, 11 February 2007 (UTC)
- So who was the disentegrated protocol droid ? Clone General 14:00, April 2, 2010 (UTC)
- I don't know if this is a 2-1B or a different model that looks similar. The microphone shaped vocabulator is not present on the tortured droid. 173.51.117.61 00:59, August 12, 2011 (UTC)

What happened
Edit
Does anyone know what he or that poor gonk droid did ? Will they ever, or it is it like Ahsoka's and Jar Jar's deaths, or Sidious's name, or Yoda's Species or home, just something that was not meant to be confirmed ? Clone General 03:11, April 2, 2010 (UTC)
Do droids even have feelings? Clone General 03:05, June 3, 2010 (UTC)
