[edit] Huh?

"They were genetical cousins to the Hutts like the t'landa Til and the Yahk-Tosh, and were also resistant to Force mind tricks."

It's well-established that the t'landa Til are relatives of the Hutts, but where does it say the Yahk-Tosh are too, or that the Toydarians are related to any of the above? Is this pure speculation based on the mind-trick thing? The fact that someone used the non-word "genetical" seems to cast the whole thing into question.--Valin Kenobi 15:31, 19 Dec 2005 (UTC)

  • It is said in ep.1 that they are ressistant to mind tricks. But i'm not sure about the other things. P.h 23:59, 6 Jan 2006 (UTC)p.h

[edit] Rara and Otherwise

Has it been established that Toydarians are true birds or avians, not many birds have a flexible proboscis, this trait seems to be more mammalian or the In-Universe classification of reptavian or reptomammal.

[edit] Hutts

"They were supposedly distantly related to Hutts, on account of their homeworld's proximity to Nal Hutta and Nar Shaddaa, as well as their resistance to mind tricks (similar to Hutts)."

Proximity to Nal Hutta means nothing, because Hutts are native to Varl, not Nal Hutta. So....--Valin Kenobi 22:18, 5 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Image

That image still isn't cutting it. Should we just get a new scan (and don't even try to mess with the background), or just use a Watto image? (Or is there another good Toydarian pic?) -- Ozzel 19:35, 6 March 2007 (UTC)

  • A Watto image should work. Chack Jadson 20:06, 6 March 2007 (UTC)
    • How's this?

      • Am I missing something? The NEGAS one looks good to me.--Valin Kenobi 08:09, 7 March 2007 (UTC)
        • Check out the wings. The original version uploaded had some horrible airbrushing. Someone helped it out a little, but it still looks pretty bad. As for that Watto image, it is good, but I'd hate for it to be the main image on two articles. -- Ozzel 20:57, 7 March 2007 (UTC)
          • Maybe you could use the up close one here
for Watto's main image and use the full on version for the Toydarian article? There are plenty of other images of Watto that could be displayed on the Toydarian page instead. --Amthyst fire 08:03, 9 March 2007 (UTC)

you could always use a snapshot of the toydarian guards in "Ambush". They're pretty much the only example of "average" toydarians without significant importance. The article needs more pics in general.--207.166.3.62 20:07, 15 October 2008 (UTC)
