Did the Trade Federation army combine with the CIS army?BobafettH23 00:27, 26 July 2006 (UTC)

  • Yeah, I think so. -LtNOWIS 00:34, 26 July 2006 (UTC)

Thanks man!!!BobafettH23 00:38, 26 July 2006 (UTC)

That's true, but during AOTC don't they say something about combining the two droid forces so they can overwhelm the jedi. does this mean the tread federation has a bigger army then we know of.BobafettH23 01:06, 26 July 2006 (UTC)

  • Either their forces were split up as of 32 BBY, which is possible, or they kept building battle droids after 32 BBY on the Neimoidian purse worlds, which has been stated somewhere. Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) Imperial Emblem 14:20, 26 July 2006 (UTC)

That could be true, but we know that the droids were deactivated during the rise of the empire, then reactivated, but destroyed by the 501st.BobafettH23 18:03, 26 July 2006 (UTC)

  • Only the droids on Mustafar were reactivated. And yes, the TF army continued building up its army in secret, then combined it with the other armies of commerce. Wat Tambor even says his new battle droids would make Gunray's army the finest in the galaxy, implying that the TF comprises the bulk of the CIS army - Kwenn 18:06, 26 July 2006 (UTC)

I have a question, after order 66 was given Palpatine told Gunary to shut the droids down and he did. Then he said Lord Vader would take care of them. But when Vader was killing the CIS people, battle droids were firing at him. Was this a mistake or did they keep these droids for security...just wondering.BobafettH23 22:08, 26 July 2006 (UTC)

  • That's not how it happened—after the Separatist Council was murdered, Palpatine told Vader to send a message to all CIS ships to shut down their droids. Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) Imperial Emblem 22:26, 26 July 2006 (UTC)
  • Right. Pretty much all the corporations that joined the CIS prior to the Battle of Geonosis had private droid armies, including the Trade Federation, the Techno Union, the InterGalactic Banking Clan, the Commerce Guild, and the Corperate Alliance. I'm not sure about some of them, like didn't one Aqualish have a/the Holonet company? Also, we should find out how their organic forces were incorporated into this. A book says the Commerce Guild also had organic soldiers along with spider droids. — Aiddat (Holonet) (Contribs Log) NR Seal 22:30, 26 July 2006 (UTC)
    • As far as droid armies go, only the Trade Federation and Techno Union had armies. The others had droids used for business purposes. And the organic forces were separate from the droid armies, of course. However, this probably means that a Separatist Army article needs to be created, and have a section on the Droid Army with a main article template in that article. Fleet Admiral J. My mistake, sorry guysBobafettH23 22:42, 26 July 2006 (UTC)

During AOTC which droid army fought in the arena?BobafettH23 22:53, 26 July 2006 (UTC)

Thanks, but I didn't know that the CIS had already formed during AOTC.BobafettH23 23:06, 26 July 2006 (UTC) Is it possible we could make an article for the Techno Union, if so let's do it!BobafettH23 23:30, 26 July 2006 (UTC)

But didn't more worlds join the CIS after that meetingBobafettH23 01:07, 27 July 2006 (UTC)

Oh, I did not think about that. Did grievous take controll of the CIS after the death of Dooku? Sorry about the questions just trying to learn. Also who was the leader of the CIS after the death of Greivous?BobafettH23 01:15, 27 July 2006 (UTC)

  • The Separatist organization was already formed two years before AOTC, and the various members already had armies available. It wasn't until AOTC, that all their assets were gathered and they were ready to issue demands to the Republic.
As for the leaders, when Dooku died, Grievous became the new leader of the CIS. He already held command of their military, but now he was also in charge of their politics (which had been Dooku's territory). Unless I'm mistaken, and the Separatist council, with Nute Gunray in the lead, were next in line, politically speaking.
Nute Gunray would definitely be next in line, military-wise, after Grievous. The Remnant would most likely have Gizor Dellso as unofficial "leader", but I'm not sure if all the former Separatists followed him or got orders from him. VT-16 12:31, 27 July 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for the infoBobafettH23 14:50, 27 July 2006 (UTC)

  • As for who became CIS Head of State after Greivous, Gunray would have been next in line, but I don't think the Separatist Council knew Greivous died on Utapau. After all, who would tell them? Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) Imperial Emblem 15:08, 27 July 2006 (UTC)

Thanks again!BobafettH23 15:13, 27 July 2006 (UTC)

True, but I'd say to a degree, the Trade Fed. was absorbed by the group that later was known as the Sep. Forces. I'll admit, the Trade Fed. lasted as long as Brittney Spears' virginity, but it still stands out as the most bada$$ faction.
