It says "George Lucas also appears in the background of X-wing Rogue Squadron: The Phantom Affair"

Which one and where?Manoof 10:12, 6 May 2008 (UTC)

  • On Page 74 of the combined collection of issues #1-4, a penciling of Lucas and two jawas (one is holding a camera tripod) appears with Lucas in a film director's pose. It should also be noted that a number of the Dark Horse artists and contributors to "The Phantom Affair" have their likenesses penciled into various pages. JoelBray 17:29, 2 August 2008 (UTC)
  • The Article has now been updated to reflect a linked image of this specific appearance. JoelBray 01:56, 7 August 2008 (UTC)

Actual definitionEdit

Has their been an "official" definition of this term? I was under the impression that this refers to the name of a character or anything else in the SW universe being named after a real life person. If that's the case, Lucas' appearance in that comic really doesn't fit the term. It's more of a cameo or in-joke or something, isn't it? Also -- maybe this is stretching it a bit -- but would the three ships names listed here (Magellan, Korolev, Xerxes) count, seeing as they are directly named for famous historical figures? --JMM 02:59, 11 August 2008 (UTC)

Darth HowlEdit

I don't want to add this to the article, and then have it removed as unsourced, but I e-mailed Sean Williams and asked him about his contest, whereas the winner of an eBay auction would get his name tuckerized and put into his "next book" (which ended up being Star Wars: The Old Republic: Fatal Alliance), with the money going to help the survivors of the Australian wildfires. I asked what character was the tuckerized fan, and he said that Darth Howl was named after a man named Ken Howlett. But my only source for this is an email from the author himself. How can this be integrated into the article? Taral, Dark Lord of the Sith -Just shy, not antisocial: You can talk to me!- 14:48, July 6, 2011 (UTC)

  • You can e-mail Sean and ask if it's OK to take a screencapture of the e-mail and upload it to Wookieepedia. Coruscantfan got permission to do it for Jaller Obrim, and I got permission from Jan Duursema to do it for Rand Ko. Menkooroo 15:10, July 6, 2011 (UTC)
