Planet imageEdit

This is to discuss the main image for this article. I recently replaced the very pixelated and lego-block looking image from SW Rebellion with the image from The Clone Wars web comic Act on Instinct. It was then reverted with the reasoning "Rebellion's is the latest portrayal". Currently the site policy is for the latest or most "recent" IU portrayal where possible for the infobox. And that is a good policy when applied to individuals. But this is a planet for crying out loud! Unless the planet has gone through a major cataclysmic event to completely alter its appearance (like Caamas for instance) then this policy shouldn't apply to planets. By this logic, Alderaan's main image should be the Graveyard, not the whole planet. I'd like to discuss this and get others' feedback. - JMAS ^{Hey, it's me!} 13:55, November 12, 2009 (UTC)

• I'm not going to get invested in this debate regarding which image is better, but I will say this: that Rebellion image was created by the game's designers specifically for Ukio. Whereas other planet designs are used 12 times over for different planets in the game, that design is used for Ukio and Ukio only, which is pretty remarkable. I've always interpreted the "pixelated and lego-block looking" elements of the image, as you refer to it, as done purposefully in an effort to depict humongous crop fields, like we might see looking down on the ground from an airplane, since Ukio is regarded as a primary foodstuff producer. Whatever image is used for the infobox, this Rebellion image is important and unique enough that it needs to stay in the article one way or another.
