Acclamator

156 V-19s were counted in this thread from the stardestroyer.net boards. This number should be considered a lower limit, since the scene cut away before it was confirmed that Anakin's Acclamator had finished launching all of its fighters. Torrent vs. V-Wing

How could a Venator hold the same number of these as V-Wings? It's considerably larger.Commodore Axilon 00:23, 23 September 2006 (UTC)

Capable of...?

Are these things capable of flying when their S-Foils are in the same position as when they landed?

            • I don't believe that this is possible, as soon as the ships lifoff from Coruscant the wings immediately fold down. Why wouldn't they just leave the wings up when travelling to their transports, at this time there was little threat of Coruscant being attacked. Ciphe 22:03, 23 February 2008 (UTC)

Design

Is there any specific date as to when the V-19 was upgraded to include a hyperdrive?

      • I'll be honest: I have no idea where to find this. But I seem to recall a graphic story from one of the StarWars Tales volumes that showed Shaak Ti(?) in a Jedi Starfighter flanked by several V-19s, all jettisoning hyperspace rings. Star Fox Command (see Behind the scenes)

• Does this statement refer to Panther's ship? It doesn't seem too similar to note, unless I'm seeing the most resemblance in the wrong ship. You might as well say the Wolfen 1.0 is an X-wing. C3PO the Dragon Slayer

Shielding

Did the V-19 have any shielding? The article doesn't say whether it had any. I'm working on a mod for Star Wars: Empire at War and I'm trying to make things like shields accurate to Star Wars canon.Nebulon B freak 23:37, 27 May 2008 (UTC)

Armament

The armament section indicates the V-19 is equipped with two blaster cannons, and cites the SAGA Edition Starships of the Galaxy RPG book. However, that same book (page 149) has a weapons entry that makes no mention of blaster cannons, and instead indicates the V-19 is equipped with two laser cannons. Where did the blaster cannon notation originate from?

Canon article

Design Paintjob Lore?

Is there any lore reason why the V-19 Torrent uses a paint scheme that is very similar to that of the T-65 X-Wing and other Incom Vessels, despite not being a Incom ship that could be added here? —Unsigned comment by Zeoinx (talk • contribs).
