Acclamator[]
156 V-19s were counted in this thread from the stardestroyer.net boards. This number should be considered a lower limit, since the scene cut away before it was confirmed that Anakin's Acclamator had finished launching all of its fighters. Interestingly, 156 comes out neatly to exactly 13 squadrons. JimRaynor55 05:23, 3 Jun 2005 (UTC)
Missiles[]
Where did you get the lower limit of 6 concussion missiles from? Was this counted from the Clone Wars cartoon? JimRaynor55 16:28, 21 Jun 2005 (UTC)
Cargo Capacity and Consumables?[]
Does anyone know how much Cargo/Consumables this could carry?--Lord Zack 23:16, 15 March 2006 (UTC)
- It looks like a pretty compact fighter to me; I don't think it would be a lot, if any. Admiral J. Nebulax (talk) 23:23, 15 March 2006 (UTC)
Torrent vs. V-Wing[]
How could a Venator hold the same number of these as V-Wings? It's considerably larger.Commodore Axilon 00:23, 23 September 2006 (UTC)
- Well, if sources say so, then Venators can. Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 02:10, 23 September 2006 (UTC)
- I think it may have been possible for Venators to hold more V-wings, but another factor besides size probably lead to the decision to have them only hold 192.--Darth OblivionComlink 02:29, 23 September 2006 (UTC)
- True. Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 02:31, 23 September 2006 (UTC)

Capable of...?[]
Are these things capable of flying when their S-Foils are in the same position as when they landed?
- I don't believe that's ever been addressed. —Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 20:37, 2 February 2007 (UTC)
- I wanted to know for use in a mod for EaW:FoC. Maybe as the close S-foils ability, but i dont know if they can fly like that.
- Well, to be honest, you're not going to get any answers. —Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 20:45, 2 February 2007 (UTC)
- Damn.
- It's possible, since X-wings and ARC-170s can fly with their wings up, just that it's never been proven in canon. I'd say it's a reasonable assumption for a mod, though - \\Captain Kwenn// — Ahoy! 20:53, 2 February 2007 (UTC)
- Possible, maybe. —Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 20:54, 2 February 2007 (UTC)
- I don't believe that this is possible, as soon as the ships lifoff from Coruscant the wings immediately fold down. Why wouldn't they just leave the wings up when travelling to their transports, at this time there was little threat of Coruscant being attacked. Ciphe 22:03, 23 February 2008 (UTC)

Design[]
Has it occured to anyone that the design of the V-19 may have been inspired by the imperial Lambada-class shuttle? - Awar 02:23, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
- I don't see it. —Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 11:54, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
- I'm guessing he is referring to the folding wings, which is the only thing they have in common. Also, it's Lambda, not lambada. --Hencho414 11:56, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
- Like I said, too much speculation. —Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 11:58, 13 March 2007 (UTC)

True, but it may be worth noting the similarity since the folding wing design is rather distinctive.--Hencho414 12:05, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
- I don't know... If we would follow that logic, every article whose subject had three wings would get the same mention. —Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 14:36, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
- You are forgetting that the Lambda-class Shuttle in the Star Wars Universe came after the V-19.Ciphe 15:26, 21 June 2008 (UTC)
Upgrade?[]
Is there any specific date as to when the V-19 was upgraded to include a hyperdrive?
- Probably not. —Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 11:14, 16 May 2007 (UTC)
- Did they not use hyperspace booster rings?--LtCol. JuiceStain 21:42, 20 May 2007 (UTC)
- They might have. —Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 11:33, 21 May 2007 (UTC)
- I'll be honest: I have no idea where to find this. But I seem to recall a graphic story from one of the StarWars Tales volumes that showed Shaak Ti(?) in a Jedi Starfighter flanked by several V-19s, all jettisoning hyperspace rings. If I find out more, I'll let you know. --LtCol. JuiceStain 21:08, 22 May 2007 (UTC)
- I think you're right. It was Star Wars: Republic, though. —Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 00:43, 23 May 2007 (UTC)
- That was it. Thanks for clarifying.--LtCol. JuiceStain 01:03, 23 May 2007 (UTC)
- I'll see if I can find which issue it is, and whether or not the V-19s used hyperdrive rings. —Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 01:04, 23 May 2007 (UTC)
- I'd appreciate that. Thanks.--LtCol. JuiceStain 01:12, 23 May 2007 (UTC)

Star Fox Command (see Behind the scenes)[]
- Does this statement refer to Panther's ship? It doesn't seem too similar to note, unless I'm seeing the most resemblance in the wrong ship. You might as well say the Wolfen 1.0 is an X-wing. C3PO the Dragon Slayer
Shielding[]
Did the V-19 have any shielding? The article doesn't say whether it had any. I'm working on a mod for Star Wars: Empire at War and I'm trying to make things like shields accurate to Star Wars canon.Nebulon B freak 23:37, 27 May 2008 (UTC)
- Unless the sources say it did, it didn't. --Round Robin 04:25, 21 July 2008 (UTC)
Armament[]
The armament section indicates the V-19 is equipped with two blaster cannons, and cites the SAGA Edition Starships of the Galaxy RPG book. However, that same book (page 149) has a weapons entry that makes no mention of blaster cannons, and instead indicates the V-19 is equipped with two laser cannons. Where did the blaster cannon notation originate from?
Canon article[]
I seem to recall that some episode guide provided the Canon name for the Torrent. Does anyone know which one it is?AV-6R7User talk:AV-6R7 01:12, December 7, 2014 (UTC)
- The name "V-19 Torrent interceptor" is mentioned in the current Databank entries of Warthog, clone troopers, Galactic Republic, and in the episode gallery of Storm Over Ryloth. --Lelal Mekha (Audience Room) 01:47, December 7, 2014 (UTC)
- Excellent. Thank you, that should help.AV-6R7User talk:AV-6R7 04:33, December 7, 2014 (UTC)
Design Paintjob Lore?[]
Is there any lore reason why the V-19 Torrent uses a paint scheme that is very similar to that of the T-65 X-Wing and other Incom Vessels, despite not being a Incom ship that could be added here? —Unsigned comment by Zeoinx (talk • contribs).
Creator's concept art[]
I found the guy who made the Torrent, including the design process and finalized sketches. Any of those images look like they deserve inclusion in the article?--Valiran (talk) 14:43, May 3, 2020 (UTC)
