So was Valiant a clone commander or an ARC trooper? Lieutenant Gerard 16:44, 25 March 2006 (UTC)
- Labyrinth of Evil calls him an "ARC commander" - Kwenn 17:02, 25 March 2006 (UTC)
- But clone commanders received ARC training, hence "ARC commander". Admiral J. Nebulax (talk) 19:53, 25 March 2006 (UTC)
- But, remember there was a bit of trouble with Cody being referred to as an ARC; an earlier book included an excerpt from LoE, in which Cody was referred to as an ARC. In the published book, that passage was re-written, calling Cody ARC-trained, rather than an actual ARC. Since Valiant is still called an ARC commander in the final version, I say that's his designation - Kwenn 20:24, 25 March 2006 (UTC)
- Perhaps he was a clone commander that commanded ARC troopers, not an ARC that commanded other ARCs. Admiral J. Nebulax (talk) 20:26, 25 March 2006 (UTC)
- He leads a team of commandos in LoE - Kwenn 20:28, 25 March 2006 (UTC)
- ARCs, clone commandos, or regular clones performing commando operations? I haven't read the book in a while, so I wouldn't know. Admiral J. Nebulax (talk) 00:41, 26 March 2006 (UTC)
- I've got the book in front of me, and says commandos. ApprenticeEternal 14:02, 06 April, 2007
