ConceptionEdit

"It was in Varykino that Luke and Leia were conceived, five months before the Battle of Coruscant". Er, what? Surely it's nine months before the Battle of Coruscant, since RotS only takes place over a few days? - Kwenn

    • Huh? Are you saying that the way Star Wars humans reproduce is different from us Earth humans? (scratches head) Luke and Leia may have been conceived five months prior to ROTS, but didn't ROTS show that they were born prematurely, considering the fact that they have to be removed from the dying Padme in order to save their lives.       • Yeah, but they're in no way 4 entire months premature. They look like healthy babies, they'd look much more ugly and messy and less human if Star Wars humans spent as much time in their mother's belly as we do. And if we're going to believe Star Wars is supposed to take place a long time ago, in a galaxy far far away, there have to be some differences. --Master Starkeiller 11:29, 4 Jan 2006 (UTC)
  • It should be noted Randy Stradley made that comment back when the timespan of ROTS was assumed to be weeks, not days. Since the conception comment is an OOU statement by an author, it should be removed.
