Darman knows?[]
Erm, should we leave it as Darman being unaware, after all when he named his son he didn't really know did he? I might be wrong since I didn't really understand the last few pages of true colours, far too confusing for me. - Kingpin13Cantina Battle Ground 16:49, 3 May 2008 (UTC)
- He didn't know that it was his son. I just looked at the scene where Darman said what he would name a son, and the part after that when he and Etain talked, and I didn't see any hint that he knew that the baby was his son. I'm going to change it back to saying that he didn't know. 96.233.179.32 19:57, 3 May 2008 (UTC)
- I thought so, thanks - Kingpin13Cantina Battle Ground 10:56, 5 May 2008 (UTC)
Dead?[]
Is he supposed to be dead? Because in Invincible, the Imperial Remnant released a nanovirus programmed to target and eliminate all members of the Fett genome. It's also stated that Mirta Gev can never again return to Mandalore, so there is the evidence that proves the virus can kill offsprings of the Fett clones, which obviously includes Kad.
- That's a good question, I also wondered about this. But the solution to Your problem is in Jaing Skirata's talk page and Nanovirus' talk page. Avengers 17:04, December 31, 2010 (UTC)
Move to Kad Skirita?[]
I haven't read the Legacy Novels, but I've read the Republic Commando novels, finishing up Order 66 now. Ever since Darman says he likes the name Kad at the end of True Colors, his son is referred to as Kad instead of Venku. What does he go by as an adult? Should we change the article name? — Aiddat (Holonet) (Contribs Log) 23:31, 28 October 2008 (UTC)
- He goes by both names. I believe the policy is that we use the confirmed or legal name, which in this case is Venku. --ToRsO bOy 23:37, 28 October 2008 (UTC)
- This page really ought to be called "Kad Skirata", IMO. He was only known as Venku during the pregnancy and an exceedingly short period after his birth. From then on he was Kad, in accordance with his parents' wishes, and referred to as such by his entire clan/family; and apparently into later life as well. For this page to still be called "Venku" is....odd to say the least. -- DigiFluid 22:18, January 12, 2012 (UTC)
Nephew or son?[]
The article says: and thus a biological nephew of Boba Fett. If both Darman and Boba is clones of Jango, wouldent it make Venku the son of both Jango, Boba, Darman and ever other Jango-replica? Antonstaen 12:51, 28 December 2008 (UTC)
No. Just because they have they same DNA doesn't make Jango or Boba Venku's father. Jango would be more like a grandfather since, biologically speaking, he's practically the father of the entire clone army. And since the clones, again biologically speaking, are all brothers, Boba would be more like an uncle. R3 T3 14:37, September 7, 2009 (UTC)
Don't forget that the Nulls were genetically altered, so they don't have identical DNA with Boba, who's an unaltered clone. Astro Droid 22:35, September 17, 2009 (UTC)
Good point. R3 T3 20:26, September 24, 2009 (UTC)
Why is he listed as being of Clan Fett?[]
- Venku was of Clan Skirata, born and bred. Is this an assumption or did I miss something? Gratulor - User Page 14:38, November 10, 2009 (UTC)
"in the town of Kyrimorut"[]
Maybe I misinterpreted the republic commando novels; but I distinctly remember that Kyrimorut wasn't a town. It was more of a remote settlement a lot like the moisture farms on Tattooine. Either I'm wrong or we should change it to say something like, "and they made their home in Kyrimorut, near the town of Keldabe." (This is at the end of the Early Life section of the bio.) I'd do it now but I'd rather have more than my own opinion to back up the change.ZenZaku 75.51.101.122 07:31, April 8, 2011 (UTC)
