I seem to recall the The New Essential Guide to Weapons and Technology mentioning some race laminating the inside of Vonduun crab armor to prevent it from killing them when they wear it. If someone knows which race for sure, that'd be great to know. Linkman95 18:23, 20 January 2006 (UTC)

• I really doubt it. His suit in Crimson Empire II looks metallic. I don't think he wore Voduun Crab armor often during his time in the galaxy before the invasion.--Darth Oblivion 01:14, 4 August 2006 (UTC)

I think Nom Anor is wearing a form of vonduun crab in CE2, yes, since I seem to recall him wearing black vonduun crab armour for most of the first half of the NJO. I'm also not sure why Krayt's is described as "clearly modified" on the page. These versions look a lot more like my mental image of the stuff than the alternatives.... --McEwok 13:49, 4 August 2006 (UTC)

Killing Non-YV? Edit

I remember, in the books detailing the mission with the Wraiths and Jedi (Luke, Tahiri, and Mara) to Coruscant, that there were a few sets of living armor. They (supposedly) did not kill their wearers, since none of them died, and a specific comment was made about the armor twitching a few times.

Ok, most warriors wore the simple black armor that could be taken on and off. But Warmaster Tsavong Lah wore a set that was directly fused to the bone and was rust red. Nom Anor and other non-warrior castes, other than Shamed Ones, wore a lighter version of the warrior type. Correct? S W Is For Life 14:33, 19 March 2007 (UTC)
