Talk:WESTAR-34 blaster pistol
From Wookieepedia, the Star Wars wiki.
Shouldn't this really be at WESTAR-34 blaster? For one thing, it's only Jango who uses twin blasters; they're just two examples of a blaster model. Also, the blaster is made of dallorian alloy, so I don't think it's part of the name. And the Visual Dictionary capitalizes WESTAR - Kwenn 16:31, 26 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Battlefront II
- Is the blaster that Jango holds in SWBF2 really a WESTAR-34 ? Because it really doesn't look like one. First, it's not even silver! And his WESTARs never had sniper scopes. How about the WESTAR-33 was another blaster he used, of his own design, fitted with a sniper scope? Lytcha Lauma 18:21, 5 November 2006 (UTC)
- Where abouts does it state that blaster's name? - \\Captain Kwenn// — Ahoy! 16:16, 7 November 2006 (UTC)
- I believe it says that on the screen when you switch to use them. But yeah, they certainly don't look much like WESTARs to me.Darth Ceratis 16:54, 9 January 2007 (UTC)

Image: the image with the blasters crossed is from a Master Replicas replica. One of the blasters is a stunt version with closed trigger sot hat you can spun it around your finger. maybe somebody can remove this with a grapfik programm, because i think we are talking about the real Blasters and not the Replicas.
- In that case, we need to find an image of the film prop. We tend to shy away from toy images in favour of film stills or promo shots - \\Captain Kwenn// — Ahoy! 16:56, 9 January 2007 (UTC)
- Just want to remind you that the Battlefront games often go against canonOOM-10 14:44, 4 May 2007 (UTC)OOM-10
- The Master Replicas blasters were designed and made from molds and pictures of the original studio props. That's why they're so expensive to buy. The original film prop had the closed trigger on one of the blasters, so Temuera Morrison could spin in around like a cowboy, then put it in his holster, during the Geonosis Arena scene. [edit] Base weapon?
Just curious, but a few of the other blasters from the movies have the weapon they were built around.
Was this built just for the movie, or was it built around a base weapon? 80.195.249.202 22:31, 22 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Non-canon
By the way, Jango Fett and the "WESTAR-34" don't appear in Battlefront II's storyline and so are non-canon. They only appear in Galactic Conquest and Instant Action modes.OOM-10 09:08, 24 August 2007 (UTC)
- That would probably explain why Battlefront II isn't listed as an appearance. --School of Thrawn 101 09:56, 24 August 2007 (UTC)
